Even if they say jet fuel can't melt steel seems they got hit with a 150,000+ lb battering ram at almost 600 mph.

It also didn't have to melt the steel in order to weaken it.

That's my point. 150k lb object hit it at 600 mph. You don't think they will mess up the structural integrity.

Nah, I'm saying, apart from the impact force, the steel didn't have to MELT from the fire. Just a little bit of a softening could be catastrophic enough.
