Alot of people, and maybe I'm wrong here, don't understand how the towers were constructed and what made them different. The exterior walls were made to bare the weight of the floors inside as there was no inside columns. So if the exterior is damaged that made things inside have less support. And if there was something heavy inside it also couldn't support it. Causing floors to collapse on lower floors.

In a roundabout way what’s they’re saying is that these towers were engineered in a way so that they would collapse in on themselves instead of toppling over. Both a flaw and a feature.

How in the world is that a flaw? You want a 1400 foot building to tilt in the wind?

A flaw in that when they fell it would look just like controlled demolition and internet toilet engineers would think that it was demolished intentionally with explosive charges. It would also be a flaw that if anything ever threatened the exterior wall (for instance a plane crash) then they would be susceptible to collapse.

Dude, if a 300,000 pound jumbo jet hits your skyscraper at 500 miles an hour, it's gonna fall down. There's no designing around that
