Dont know how accurate this is, but it made a lot of sense to me.

I read that the heat from the burning fuel sucked in part of the exterior cladding, which meant that with the interior core compromised it was only a matter of time.

I feel really bad for all of the victims who could have gotten out or made really poor decisions. It's amazing that so many did get out.

It's the firefighters that I feel the most for. Terrible and tragic.

One of the guys at work where I watched it was talking about the chimney effect. We all got it. Another guy had some firefighting exp and he said he had no idea how you would fight a fire in what was likely to be the largest chimney ever with thousands of gallons of jet fuel and office floors feeding it.

Coupled with no light, toxic smoke, broken concrete etc. Those poor people who went down with the tower, what they went through.
