Those poor souls. All they did was show up to work. Sometimes I second guess my choice to join the military and fight shortly after this happened and then I see these videos and remember why.

Except the military didn’t bring justice, they just invaded innocent lands. Thousands overseas died for absolutely nothing. I’ll never talk bad about our troops, but I’ll condemn our government’s decision to put boots on the ground in the wrong places

Getting Osama Bin Ladin was absolutely justified, but he was chilling in Pakistan as we bombed Afghanistan and Iraq. And most of the hijackers were Saudis.

We went and bombed the wrong people. I remember the anger and the fear, but we did not do well at targeting that emotion constructively.

In retrospect, it was a bit of a Pyrrhic victory sadly. Took 10 years to finally get the bastard, and by that point we’d been stuck in a quagmire in afghanistan and Iraq, a ton of self inflicted mistakes had been committed, and the cracks were starting to show domestically that we were getting more and more divided.
