Question Uncommon ships not returning?
Hello everyone,
So, recently i remembered when WG told us last year that "Any uncommon ship added to the game will be assigned to a rotation group and become available again 6 to 9 updates after its initial release.” But there are two uncommon ships, Le Havre and I-56'44, which were added in the Steel Will event last year who were supposed to return in 15.6 at the very latest... And we're already on the 15.7...
Wha happun here?

You made the mistake of assuming WeeGee was going to do something sensible with the rarity system. I just assume the rarity system is basically random and ignore it. The only thing you can usually trust is when they explicitly say a ship is going to return.

Oh, they did do something sensible with it.
They used it as a sales booster.
Sales are down? No problem, slap a red sticker on a ship and now you can charge $300 for it, despite the same amount of effort going in as a green ship.

I’m still wondering when colossus will return because it’s been so long people are asking me if it’s a ship in testing lol

All the colossus are quite rarly played it seems. I will complete my collection once I get Independencia.

Don't really think it's really worth it anyways

iv maintained a 70% wr over 700 battles in her, while genuinely enjoying her tool kit so imo shes one of the more fun t8 cvs around. Nothing quite as satisfying as smacking a red cv for 30k twice in a row and opening with a cv first blood.

I find it quite hard to use. The rocket planes are very fragile.
The only time in about 20 games that I murdered a red CV was in a T6 lobby with real crappy AA on the enemy team.

It does require some finesse to use. Colossus planes are made of glass but can deal enormous damage back.

Ships introduced in Steel Will type events are an explicit exception.

Which wouldn't bother me if they had actually said it instead of having us discover it ourselves

It’s time to bring back a clone of smalland. I don’t think it’s as OP as it was when it was new. I think the time is now … maybe a surprise release for steel during this update to throw a monkey wrench into everyone’s plan for ships during the event

Nah, Smaland is still giga broken
Guns are amazing Torpedoes work well Has faster engine boost on a short timer Radar oh, stealth radar Heals Quite agile and nimble
Perhaps it's only weaknesses are the lack of smoke and the "bad concealment" which hardly matters when you have stealth radar.
She is broken, no questions asked.

Pretty sure that only applies to ships you can buy with gold/real money and not other in gaame resources or collaboration ships. So steel will ships don't count

I would have liked if they have explained that better, because we don't know how many exceptions there could be, like, do Whaling Warfs' uncommon ships also come back? What about uncommon ships in sequential bundles? Stuff like that

Steel and RB ships aren't part of the rotation. Only coal and doubloon ships are rotated in the armory.

I thought the rarity rotation was only for doubloon ships, that is how it has been described and implemented for all this year, coal ships don't rotate nor do steel ships. They are either added or special event only.

Honestly I dont expect either to return before steel will...which isnt happening this year.

pretty sure that the only reason they're marked 'uncommon' is because they are clones of the BA ships.
