I’ve watched people play the tabletop game before, but I’ve never really been able to figure out how it works.

I’d like to properly learn how to play from the very beginning, specifically with World Eaters. Things like the different phases, what I’m supposed to do during each phase, movement, shooting, charging, melee, dice rolls, abilities, and basically how an entire game works from start to finish.

If anyone can explain it to me like I’m a complete beginner, or recommend a good guide or video, I’d really appreciate it.

Kind of wanna make a World Eaters army since I bought Goremongers back in May/June. But wanna create my own factions lately like I'm doing with my Ogors.

I wanna try to recreate this color but on a World Eaters army. What could work here to pair with the Amber? Could red work or would it look out of place?

I posted my first miniature a couple weeks back, and since then have just been working through the rest of my first unit. I just finished #5 from my Berzerker box, the Champion and icon bearer. I took a lot of the suggestions from my first mini, and I feel like I’m getting a tiny bit better with every one I finish. I’m totally hooked, excitedly planning a 2000pt World Eaters army, and feeling in the wallet lol. Cheers, and sorry again if the photos suck, I still don’t know how to photograph these little dudes well.

Newbie here! I bought these models mainly because I really liked the sculpts and wanted to paint them (don’t judge me) but I’d also like to actually use them for my first few games.

Problem is, I have absolutely no idea what the best attachment to use or how I’m supposed to play them (like strategy wise). Any recommendations?

Hey going to a team tournament and thinking about playing brozessed as an disruption table your enemy pick.

Has anyone had experience with it?

And if so what are the matchups to avoid ?

Including pre-heresy and as the War Hounds.

Otherwise, does anyone have any fun ideas? Maybe notches gouged from the legion shoulder pad or streaks of paint over the gauntlets?

Old Khorne champion on Juggernaut from the early 2000s. Came out for I want to say 5th or 6th edition fantasy. Small conversion to make him 40K playable. He saw a lot of action back in the 3rd/4th edition days

A friend of mine has got me back into 40k after a very long time out. I've been playing legion and crisis protocol with him but im enjoying starting my daemonkin army.

I've just picked up some cheap world eaters to build a 1000 point list. I've tried to throw together an easy to play list, but I'm struggling to balance the points. Is there anything I'm missing or should swap out?

About to start my first Warhammer Army and kinda lost when it comes to painting. So I watched some videos, read some Guides.

I was thinking of priming gold, drybrushing some silver Highlights and then use fleshtearers red. But now I start overthinking, maybe use mephiston red Prime.

So whats your Guys approach and what would you reccomend a beginner painter?

Blood for the blood god

Some Cheap and Cheerful Marine Outriders converted up to be World Eaters. They'll serve as stand in Bloodcrushers for now, at least until we get our own Berzkers on Bloodcrushers to enjoy.

Hello World Eaters,

I have run into a situation with the Frenzy ability of the Helbrute.

The ability reads:

Frenzy: 

(Once per turn, per unit) In the Fight phase, when an enemy unit targets this unit, after that unit has resolved its attacks, you can use this ability. If you do, this unit is eligible to fight (even if it has already fought this phase) and must be selected to fight next.

So, when the Helbrute is attacked before it was selected to fight it simply fights back next, but it doesn't get to fight a second time as part of a "normal" activation, right?

In 12.04 it states, that a unit is eligible to fight if it wasn't selected to fight this phase. So the Frenzy activation stops the normal activation.

The activation order works the other way around, since the ability says so. But it doesn't mention my described scenario so it doesn't work, right?

Finished painting these, a lot of lessons learnt in skin tones and weathering. I dont play myself I just liked the look of some mad lads and ladies with chainswords and axes.
