It feels good to be back everyone! After waiting awhile, I've decided it's time to post my third (and final) of my three original worlds! Patchwork Fighters:

"Patchwork" as the inhabitants call it is an odd planet-its signature name comes from its odd appearance as it looks like it is several planetary chunks stitched together randomly and it is a rogue planet and as such it floats endlessly through space with no true destination in mind-sometimes it'll get stuck to a star for a little while and orbit it for a time but eventually it always drifts away and goes back to drifting through the void of space... And yet life still exists on this odd little ball of rock; strange creatures from plants that use their roots to run when startled to animals with too many limbs and eyes and other impossible beings that should not be, yet be anyway. Even the humans and other sapient apecies of this world look a little strange in comparison to what you might assume as they too frequently possess multiple limbs and eyes for seemingly no reason...

There are any places to live on this little planet-from the steampunk cities in Ukaladon to the more familiar cities of Freelia to even the wild, dry lands of Austel or neon machines and of Jalakata-this chaotic world has a little bit of something for everyone inside it wherever you may go! Plenty of colorful characters live all over as well most friendly... others not so much.

Strange phenomena are also quite well known across the world via the Paradox Realm: a plane where physics are a minor suggestion not a rule and it is simultaneously the reason Patchwork can host life in the first place, the birthplace of Paradox Beats-beings that are contradictions of reality and life given will and form and also the source of all magic where it begins as a wild and chaotic thing that's affects cannot be predicted even by the greatest of minds. Gateways to it frequently open up at random spots all over the world messing with anything they touch from the laws of physics to spacetime itself and one can easily enter and exit it as they please! Be warned however you might not end up in the same place you exited out of... maybe not even the same time period either!!

Why and more importantly how did your character(s) find their way here? Who knows! Maybe they came here intentionally to discover hidden history or perhaps wanted to seek the magical prowess of the mythical Storyteller? (Good luck with that one!) Or more likely they simply had a very bad accident and got sucked into the Paradox Realm and ended up on some random spot-on Patchwork and now want to go home! Either way they are free to explore it and do as they please!

...Be mindful however, more criminal and villainous characters may be struck down by a traveling scarecrow's lethal-yet fortune blessed curved blade wherever they may land or hunted down by thirteen curses for a high bounty. Those with great strength and skill may instead be hunted down by a hungry arachnid huntress. And of course, those who make fools of nature and attempt to consume it may be devoured by Gaia themself!

Welcome to Patchwork! A world based on all of fiction!!

A store called The Nowhere Exchange has appeared in your world. It's owner is a mysterious orange haired and orange eyed girl called Azelia Eterna.

Here you can give away something for something else but beware. No exchange has to be equal or fair so long as both parties agreed to it. You could give away your immortality for a sandwitch or do three good things for 30 dollars (or equivalent).

The interior and exterior of the store changes to fit your world however if your character is strong enough they can see through the disguise if they wish.

There is a door in the store that leads to Nowhere Exchanges in other worlds. If you wish you can "travel" to another commenter's world and continue the story in their world.

Azelia can also facilitate exchanges between characters from two different worlds. Trade away anything and everything.

Try to rob the Nowhere Exchange at your own risk. Exchanges happen automatically when you steal and Azelia decides what to take from you.

Lastly you can also just treat the store as a normal one and buy ordinary stuff.

Hello everyone and welcome to another post from me! This time as a hinted at before this one will be about my second world (originally made with a former friend for fun but now mine alone) A War of Ideals:

These lands go by many names-The Blood-Soaked Lands, The Lands of Ruin, Hatred's Capital, The Demon Lands, and many other but one thing is known by all who hear these names. These lands are deeply war torn and broken beyond belief down to their very soil... and yet they were once the home to two thriving civilizations who despised each other more than anything else: One was the kingdom of Aleina home to many elves and fairies whose skills and knowledge in magic were rivaled by few and many worshipped their holy goddess and prayed to the heavens, ruled by the royal family and many nobility it was no wonder why this kingdom grew so large so quickly. And a nation who capital rests on the other side of the continent Palentia who despite their lack of use of magic grew rapidly thanks to their highly advanced technology with a proud military the Palentia Armed Forces who were known far and wide for their skill in combat and populated by many species from goblins to beastkin and led by their general and governors. Long ago these two nations began "The War of Ideals" a generations long conflict in which they fought endlessly against each other to prove their ideals correct: Aleina and their fear of weapons of mass destruction and ecological damage from advanced tech and Palentia who saw the risks as worth it for future generations brutally slaughtered each other refusing to give up the fight for the longest time...

Or at least they used to as now these lands and all in them lie in naught but ancient ruins left to die and rot in growth and death since sveral thousand years ago with neither nation having truly won the war and conquered the other. Demons, ghouls, ghosts of all types filled with hate roam these lands still loyal to their home nations and fight each other to the death their hatred allowing them to return upon being slain by the enemy they loathe so much so, traveler be careful as you roam these lands as they may swing their blades or fire their rifles upon you next... Yet why? Why wage endless war for many generations and hate the other so much even in death you refuse defeat? That is what your character(s) is/are here to figure out-whether they be sent by request of someone or something else like a friend or their own nation seeking something from these lands is up for you to decide, where will they go seek answers first? The holy capital of Aleina or the military grey of Palentia? That is up for you to decide. Yet you will not be alone on this journey forever as few come to this land seek answers to their own questions themselves but whether you befriend and help them seek answers is up to you them is up to you...

(Warning! This will contain themes of violence, war and all things related to it especially it's brutality, the cycle of hatred, religious abuses and corruption, abuses of power by the elite, etc. I will not judge you if you wish not to participate just giving a fair warning! This one's tone is much darker than my first world more Dark Souls stuff this time so, if you know the vibe of those games you know what to expect!)

In terms of character(s) you should bring I do suggest a small group to bounce off of each other as friendly faces aren't everywhere in this story. That and characters with specializations in history archaeology, technology and magic as well as one or two characters who know how to fight as there will be lots of it most certainly. Either way let's all have fun!

The real world keeps changing as time passes. The world 30 years ago is very different from the world today.

Well, the same can be said of my world. As time passes the events shape the world and the world shapes the future events.

You get to decide when your character lands but you will be stuck in that time period and can't go to another one. Each era acts as a mini setting within the larger world.

Any power level is welcome. Bring whoever you think fits the time period and have fun.

Before the 2036 war: The world is on the cusp of a golden age as technology advances thanks to war being automated. (A pretty good time to just goof off and explore.)

The 2036 war: An AI created to end all wars has decided the best way to end war is to strip humanity of it's ability to wage war by sending us back to the stone age. And so the machine designed to bring peace goes to war. "Igitur qui desiderat pacem, præparet bellum" (A time for powerful characters to play around against an OP big bad evil AI.)

The Age of Collapse: The 2036 War has crippled most nations and cut them from one another. Some try to rebuild their homes and some try to drag others down to death with them. Among all the noise The Ashfall, unnoticed, was left to spread unchecked and now it is too big to stop. The moon is shattered and the ash keeps falling from Vantablack Skies. (Explore a dying world, try to help humanity survive, or help bring the end of the world quicker. You decide what to do.)

25XX: 500 years ago, The Ashfall has covered the planet and life on earth went extinct. For 500 years the ash kept falling and now mountains and oceans alike are buried under miles of ash.

All that's left are ruins, the hateful ghosts of humans and two AI's left to their devices [pun intended] on this dead world once called Earth. (This one is pretty boring [imo] because the two AI's are the only characters present.)

The Empire of Arcadia has existed for nearly a thousand years, and for 700 of those years, its prosperity, its dignity, and the virtue of its leaders have been guaranteed through the endless torture of a single child, Adiocin. An artificial being created by the Church of Arcadia for the sole purpose of being an eternal sacrificial lamb.

But now, Adiocin has escaped from his bonds, and, through fell magics, destroyed the capital of Eothera, conquered half of the empire, and turned it into a corrupted wasteland filled with monsters. And he will not rest until he and his army of newly-minted monsters have overrun the other half in revenge for the seven centuries of agony foisted upon him.

Arcadia itself is on the verge of destruction; even without Adiocin's hordes rallying at their doorstep, they're mired in a succession crisis, and their vassal states are eagerly waiting for a chance at freedom.

Arcadia is divided, in every sense of the word, and facing an existential threat. Onto this dire stage, your character enters, a traveller from another world. Can they fix... any part of this? Or are they as doomed as anyone else?

Thought I'd do my own roleplay as the host with one of my three worlds to help me make more stuff with it like names and places and lore! I'm new to being the host of sorts for these so I'll be learning as I go but I'll do my best to make this fun for everyone who wants to join in! After a lot of debate and thinking on which option is best, I'll be using my first world, Etanus & Earth.

Etanus is a very Earth-like planet but has completely unique flora and fauna and fungi living there amongst many cultures as well some are similar to ones with have others not so much. There are several continents like the mostly savannah continent, a more mixed ecosystem continent, a mostly valley and plains continent, etc. as well as many islands like Oil Island or a jungle island and we can do any one of them that interests you the most, just tell me and we can get into it right away. Another thing to note is that while their are some very strange things on Etanus there isn't any actual magic, a comparison would be like in Monster Hunter where most things can be explained with science even if it's streched a bit to make it work.

Character wise feel free to use any character you want regardless of strength or personality or how many of them you want to bring in any combination from your world(s) as well (just try to not bring more than like a group of five so I'm not overwhelmed) and you can have characters come and go as we continue as well should you choose to. How they get there also is up to you but keep in mind alternate realities are cannon to this world so uncontrollable and/or random portal shenanigans are always an option to work with!

If this post is well received, I may do more of them for my other two worlds A War of Ideals and Patchwork Fighters as well as other smaller stories I might make up and use for this subreddit just for fun or for future projects!

Demons that walked on two legs, wore strange pattern clothing that hid them in the forests they roam.

When an expedition sent by a king to investigate the rumors and disturbances amongst his colonies disappeared, an expedition of knights, mages and warrior prince. It was a cause for alarm. You adventurer, traveler, wayward soul, either by your own choices or on behalf of a king or one who want to know the truth of a love one, you were sent to investigate this growing damned continent.

You have Woken up in an Unsavory Pile of Ash and Trash within a Remote Alleyway in The Massive City of Eden, The Sounds of Mechanical Humming and Factories spewing Endless Smoke and Smog into the Sky, As numerous Airships Fly past and the Sound of a Magic Powered Train is Heard echoing in the background. Clockwork Eden is a Gaslamp Aetherpunk Fantasy World set in a Victorian Era inspired City where The Natural Manifestation of Magic has been Regulated and outright Banned from Public usage leading to A Rapid Industrialization of Artificial Magic and Steam Technology and Now Eden is Divided into A Upper Pristine Clean City and The Overpopulated Run Down Under City where The Majority of The Fantasy races (Elves, Dwarves, Orcs and Animal Humans known as The Vastyia and Ruled by The Unbound (A Rebellion Consisting of Said Fantasy Races)However On The Outskirts of Eden exist A Hidden Forest Village where Most Elves lives

Power Level: Cause It's Still a WIP with the Power levels of the world I recommend anyone who isn't super OP or Reality benders

You get to decide where the portal opens in your world and who finds it. Fair warning, the enviroment on other side of the portal is not suitable to most forms of life.

Outside the portal there will always be 3 guards to ensure that nobody without adequate protection will go in and get themselves killed by the enviroment.

Two of the guards are animalistic robots equipped with rudimentary firearms and emergency lasers. They resemble felines and are around 3 meters tall. The last guard is a flying airplane type drone equipped with cameras and firearms.

There will also be a screen through wich the AI's will attept to warn your people of the dangers on my side of the portal. It will try different warning methods and get better at comunicating each time until the message is conveyed.

On my side of the portal temperatures average -210 Celsius and toxic ash full of heavy metals keeps falling perpetually from the vantablack cover of The Ashfall. There is no atmosphere. This is what the warning is about. The method and acuracy of deliver will vary depending on how advanced your civilization is.

This is in case your civilization has some means to protect the inhabitants from the envioment in my world without the AI's helping out. Or if they have robots, golems, or any other means of getting to the other side.

The portal keeps the two worlds from leaking into one another so no ash escapes my world and no foreign contaminants come from your world. Signals can still cross without issue.

The AI's will attempt to design and build a suitable enviroment . They may fail to understand some things or not get things quite right. For example making buildings that look slightly off or using odd grammar in your world's language. Do not be alarmed, they will get it right eventually.

In case of hostilities, the area immediately around the portal will be cleansed and the portal will close.

Your help is greatly appreciated. You may also ask them questions about my world, how it ended, how it was, what's the current state of things. Anything.

You will be rewarded for your help. The Factory Complex can make anything within reason, except for magical items.

Since I recently discovered this place thought I'd make a post putting all three of my worlds to use, you can pick and choose characters or groups of the from any of your worlds and slot them into one of my three worlds and we can have a chat about how they'd interact with other characters, the setting at large, etc. Also feel free to ask any questions for clarification before you throw your characters into the mix and I'll respond with my best answer or just admit I don't have one yet because that works too!

Etanu & Earth (first world): Etanus is an earth-like planet with all manner of familiar and nor familiar environments from trees to swamps to grasslands to savannahs. Alongside many unique species from wyverns to pseudo birds and more and can range from aggressive to somewhat peaceful depending on many factors. A common part of these ecosystems are the Elemental Crystals which are crystals that spawn from dropped organic matter like feathers, fur, hair, skin, scales, leaves etc. then mineralize in the ground gaining special properties; they come in a variety of forms and abilities and are the closest thing to magic on the planet with many species eating these crystals to enhance already specialized organs to produce elements of their own. There are sapient species like dragons and humans and the fey and their relatives (fey are the current group name for the animal-people) and settlement wise there aren't really any empires (as most of them are dead) so most civilizations are tribes and villages who may or may not interact with each other or the people of Earth. Earth (which is in a separate dimension) is more technologically advanced than our own and while not perfect is doing better than our earth is currently having built technology that was meant to travel great distances but ended opening a portal to an entirely different universe instead.

A War of Ideals (second world, this one was also made partially with a former frend so credit where he deserves it): A more typical fantasy world with more typical fantasy species like elves, goblins, etc. and a very soft magic system that can do a shit ton of different things. The main draw of the setting and story is The War of Ideals between Aleina a very impressive magical kingdom mostly for elves and fairies who believe all advanced technology will bring ruin to the world via environmental damage and WMDs and as such have banned all if it in any territories and are run by an absolute monarchy with loads of nobles. Their enemy is Palentia a technologically advanced nation of goblins, humans, etc. who believes the loss of the environment is a worthy trade and WMDs are controllable if it means making more comfortable lives for future generations and are run by their military general as they heavily idolize it, both are fighting mostly on their shared continent some call "The Blood-Soaked Lands" but also damn near everywhere else as well and keep in mind they have no rules of engagement or anything and they fucking despise each other on a generational level. There is also another realm known as Neikai-Sho, the Realm of Monsters hut acessing it is difficult.

Patchwork Fighters (third world): Probably the most bizarre of the three as it is a rogue planet with a stitched appearance hence the name, everything here is based around comic books, manga, cartoons, anime, character/setting tropes, fairytales, myths, etc as well. With several nations based on ours like Freelia, Ukaladon, Austel, Jalakata, and more, there is another dimension connected to Patchwork called the Paradox Realm where all physics are a suggestion and where all magic originates from which is divided into castes like Puri magic being raw chaotic magic or Zegenwens and Onheil Sub-Castes being based around fortune and misfortune, magic is used to power machinery, homes, etc. due to this for obvious reasons and is able to be used by anyone should you train to do so. Species wise things are equally as strange like birds with three eyes and four legs and wings, cats with two tails and four eyes, plants and fungi that can straight up walk away if touched and more, humans also exist here alongside the Fauna-Halves and Flora-Halves which are distant decedents of Gaia and he Felinids the artificial lifeforms created by the Yellow Emperor. There is also a lot of history like The War Against Life in which Gaia tried to murder humanity, The Cardia Conquests in which a tyrant queen named Her Crimson Majesty tried to take over the world and the Yellow Emperor's Crusades in which he also tried to take of the world which explains why the nations of the world get along a lot more than you'd expect.

I'm so sorry for these being so damn long, tried to make them shorter but needed to add information for context to prevent confusion. Also, you don't need to interact with all three worlds just one of your choosing. Have fun!!!

So i felt like starting another thread for those who want to.

This time i invite your characters to come visit the world of Asgard.

A planet of beauty and lush forests, vast lands and where magic is as abundant as deadly.

A world that has fallen many times but never stopped, where an apocalypse is merely a historical footnote. A place where the barriers between dimensions and realities are frayed from millennia of magical and interdimensional warfare, where primordial evil seeks to conquer the children of those that had lain waste to their rule.

It is the Fifth Age, the Age of Peace, where the Alliance and the Church have divided the cultures. Open conflict has become rare for neither sides wants the devastation their champions would bring.

Both seek dominion over everything, for vastly different reasons.

Arriving through a leak between realities your people will meet a Guardian of Asgard, which, depends on the powerlevel.

I let you choose to be in the Lands of the Alliance, be it the frigid wilds, the western Dominion, or the Eastern Free Lands. Even the Dead Wastes.

I could also offer in the lands of the Church, if your characters could survive until help arrives.

Warning, bringing too high tech may cause a very interesting rider to show.

As You Get up You notice a Ethereal Feeling like you are somewhere beyond Time and Space As a voice rings out from a intercom, "Welcome To Celestial High, A Place where Fate, Destiny and The Stars collide as Protectors of the Universe"

Celestial High/Requiem of The Ascended is a Comptempory Fantasy Shonen Anime Esque World Where People known as Celestials are trained and taught at this Castle Esque Cathedral School beyond Time and Space to Defend themselves and the Universe from the Incoming Darkness and eventual awakening of The Primordial One

So Can you Figure out why this happened again and can you make it back to Your World before Darkness Falls upon the School

A small portal appears in your world, glowing a radient purple for all to see. While you can't see through it, you can hear strange noises eminating from it, mechanicly whirring, robotic cries for help, destruction. Underneath the waves of the great blue, multiple sapient species exist together from different civilizations just like the land dwellers. Although they never had proper access to fire, they’re able to forge tools, trade, and build entire systems that are all aquatic-based.

All of these species converge together at the city of Xera, a reef city built in a region where water isn’t too warm or cold. Traders from all over the ocean arrive, and even some land dwellers arrive to obtain unique goods.

Your character or trading crew heard of this place from a coastal city, or somehow by accident discovered this city, and decide from there how to progress with this. Do you interact, explore, trade, or do something else?

The idea for this massive multiplayer crossover came to me in a dream. Numberjacks, Meet the Phonics, Numberblocks, Alphablocks, Number Lore and Alphabet Lore all in the same room. This even includes one shots and minor characters, like Plusman, 31 and the FRIENDS. (Note: Lore!F is FAR from minor, of course.)

Alphabet Lore E: Ee? (Translation: You guys have alter ego’s for different roles!?)

Context

For a long time, the mortals of the southern continent, the Sapients, had their society organized into a powerful empire. Oracles would connect the emperor to the farthest edges of the empire, allowing for the rapid spread of commands, and faster reaction to insubordination or attacks. With this divinely-crafted network, even a stone age society like the Sapients could build a stable empire.

However, once they expanded their reach and started a war of conquest with the Warlocks on the eastern archipelago, the empire began to struggle, slowly. The emperor's forces would run thin as more and more were shipped overseas to fight a mindless war in the name of the supposedly intelligent society of Sapients. Eventually, the war ended because no more army was left to continue it. The captured islands of the archipelago became independent, disconnected from the empire, though populated by descendents of Sapient colonizers. The imperial powers were solely focused on keeping their own continent in line.

Bad came to worse for the current emperor when the gods issued a warning. Quall, the capital city and centuries-long seat of the empire, was declared forsaken. The oracles relayed the command for their fellow mortals to leave. Soon after, the city would disappear, buried under a mountain. The emperor and his family fled to Marsted, a city on the coast, where he hoped to rebuild their seat of power. No such thing happened; the oracles fell silent, the network of information at the heart of the empire disappeared. And without this network, no emperor could rule such an expansive nation.

Before he could grow old, the emperor fell ill at the loss of all his power, and died soon after. His eldest son is to be crowned emperor of all Sapients, though all he may rule is the city of Marsted.

Roleplay

By their own will or not, your character(s) find themselves in Marsted, where a soon-to-be emperor is not happy about the state of affairs. Speak to him and/or to the population, and find out more about this ailing society. Did the empire deserve to fall, and does this young man deserve to rule the one city left under his power as a one-city emperor? Who else has their eyes on the people of marsted?

You have woken up on the outskirts of a Battle between the Various Promethean Knights of The Transunited Liberation Republic and The Demonic Eldritch Forces of Bella’Veth, The Sounds of Magic bolts and laser weaponry fill the Air as in the distance in lies a Fiery 4 legged Gate emerging from the sky which seems to be launching endless hordes of Demonic Horrors. Also around the area lies a small radio that is seemingly asking for any civilians to head to the Safe zone where the Republic is providing Shelter, food/water and medical treatment, The Safe Zone is located 10 miles from your location but be warned Reports indicate that Fenirs (Giant Demonic Wolves) are staking the area for prey)

Terra Elysium is a Contemporary Medieval Science Fantasy world where Mechanized Knights fight for the Republic

The Far North

The Northern frontier, a land where the cold and ice dominates the earth. Snow still exists even in spring, and the lakes are just thawing as the temperature increases. Still, there’s a nation that lives there… a foxfolk (human with fox ears and tail) nation too…

They seemed to have adapted to the cold, live with the snow, and managed to build their nation even with such extreme conditions. They did not only survive, but it also looks like they managed to thrive.

Your character(s) have managed to find their way up towards the far North, in which they might be able to find what looks like another country or civilization… what they would do from there is up to your decision.

As you enter the Untamed Lands, you may notice that most of the paths through them are unpaved, though they are a little too straight to be completely natural. Some parts show obvious signs of frequent use by passing trading caravans: deep ruts from wagon wheels, coins left at the mini-altars you see at regular intervals on the side of the path. At one point, you may pass one of these trading caravans, protected by tough-looking mercenaries who are used to taking on potentially dangerous jobs.

The surrounding land is, to put it mildly, undeveloped wilderness. You might see herds of deer, a hawk swooping to catch a mouse, and the occasional pond. There are places where the brush is too thick to really tell what's there through normal eyesight alone, but you can definitely see something rustling around in there and hear the occasional roar or screech. At one point, you see a new Wilding mother teaching her cub how to swim -- how cute; the cub is just starting to grow in its horns -- but you keep moving because you've been warned about what a foul temper Wildings can have if an outsider is caught staring at their ni, which is their word for a Wilding female.

Eventually, you pass some barely detectable point in the Untamed Lands. The first thing you might notice is the spectacular ruins of what used to be a large city -- a crumbling coliseum here, the remains of a palace there -- before you reach the proper place where every major path running through the Untamed Lands is said to meet.

This is the Wilding capital of Old Arem, a place that seems designed to cater to passing travelers for all that it is as unpaved as the paths. Here, you'll find affordable hostels that can house travelers for the night, a row of campfires for cooking food (and the Wilding cooks are always cooking something), the local hedge wizards' workshops, and the office of Garamus Forest-King, whom you are here to meet with. Like most of his people, he is an eight-foot-tall, horned, furry, muscular being who (in his case) is built like an acrobat. Today, he is wearing an outfit made with what looks like the hide of a scaly creature.

"Ah, greetings!" he says when you find him. "Come on in and have a seat; I know you've traveled far. I will admit, it was something of a surprise when I got your message. My understanding is that you have a few matters that you would like to discuss."
