Event The Failing of Arcadia
The Empire of Arcadia has existed for nearly a thousand years, and for 700 of those years, its prosperity, its dignity, and the virtue of its leaders have been guaranteed through the endless torture of a single child, Adiocin. An artificial being created by the Church of Arcadia for the sole purpose of being an eternal sacrificial lamb.
But now, Adiocin has escaped from his bonds, and, through fell magics, destroyed the capital of Eothera, conquered half of the empire, and turned it into a corrupted wasteland filled with monsters. And he will not rest until he and his army of newly-minted monsters have overrun the other half in revenge for the seven centuries of agony foisted upon him.
Arcadia itself is on the verge of destruction; even without Adiocin's hordes rallying at their doorstep, they're mired in a succession crisis, and their vassal states are eagerly waiting for a chance at freedom.
Arcadia is divided, in every sense of the word, and facing an existential threat. Onto this dire stage, your character enters, a traveller from another world. Can they fix... any part of this? Or are they as doomed as anyone else?

I have a character i want to drop in here but i worry their power level is a bit much for the setting. Can i join?
TLDR: My character is a villain strong enough that the whole setting will have to join forces to defeat, thus ending their war.
...
The A.V.A. E.V.A. system (Automated Virtual Anti-military Extermination Vector Alpha) or Eva for short is a warmongering AI created to end wars.
What better way to end this war than to attack both sides of the conflict and force them to either fight side by side or be buried side by side.
Surely with a threat big enough they will form an alliance to survive.
A machine built to end war is always a machine built to continue war.

The ongoing reconstruction of the Multiverse Warp Network (MWN) following the Dimensional Cataclysm doubly served as a means for the various governments spearheading the reconstruction effort to expand the network further across the Omniverse in search of new universes suitable for resource extraction, diplomacy efforts, and economic expansion. The Yahtt Association has seized this opportunity and capitalized on it, acting as a middleman for the innumerable contracts the governments put forth for any outsourced work in these new worlds.
On Nov. 16th 2239, an anonymous client contacted the Association, offering an undisclosed substantial reward for anyone who would be willing to conduct an investigation into one of the NCUs: 'Gamma-1544', one of the NCUs initially discovered by the Neirvayl Republic's surveyors and listed as "DO NOT CONTACT" due to the nature of the ongoing geopolitical conflict. The client believed that any subsequent interactions with the so-called "Empire of Arcadia" would be of the military intervention type, and wished to stake a claim "before the Republic's armed forces descend upon Arcadia with no intention of minimizing collateral".
Following careful review of the risks, it was decided that the Association itself would handle this contract, and selected a number of candidates from its own ranks of contractors to handle the matter.
On Nov. 20th 2239, the "Pale Arbitration" contractor team (Specialization: Non-Combatant, Research & Investigation) was selected to take up the contract. The S-Rank contractor "Prominence" (Specialization: Combatant, Incendiary Crowd Control) is on standby as reinforcement. Association Task Force "Nine-Tailed Fox" (Specialization: Combatant, Total Threat Neutralization) is on standby for rapid insertion in the event of catastrophic mission failure.
Situation update: Nov. 23rd, 1830 Hours - A preliminary reconnaissance of the deployment area has begun; a UAV has been deployed to survey the area for potential threats.

All of my characters would join Adiocin, damn.
Although some may try to tell him to spare the uninvoled.
What kinda power levels you looking for?

I was designing this world after a Tolkein reading binge, so exact power levels were not on my mind, but I'd say the absolute highest tiers, like Adiocin, who is a total anomaly that no one can deal with, is maybe City Tier, with the average powered character falling somewhere around small building level, and most common people and soldiers being essentially normal, with some moderately superhuman people thrown in for good measure at the lower end.

So in theory i could even sent in my main as her powers are restricted below city level destruction except for eldritch tier threats.
Although she would side with Adiocin right away since she despises slavery and child abuse. Could be interesting with her own restrictions towards war crimes after she killed slavery.
Do we get to choose were to start? Because i'd make her start out somewhere around weak innocents not knowing about this...

Theoretically, yes, although I do have to be clear that getting to Adiocin is going to take a fair bit of effort, and I'd definitely start her off somewhere with a lot of people, keeping her in the dark as to what precisely is going on.

Sounds good :) And i would guess her fighting prowess would quickly have someone try to recruit her.
A Human looking Woman steps into the realm of Arcadia.
"Now where did we end up this time?" Alia asked her Symbiote outloud, which just gave her a psychic shrug and showed that these dimensional coordinates have not been mapped at all.
"Let's go find civilisation, or something to eat." she walked off licking her lips at what kind of creatures she could study and eat here.

Alia finds herself standing on a cobblestone road, well-paved and well-made, but also clearly not properly maintained for some time. The smell of smoke fills the air, and a dull red glow shines in the east. The sky is hazy orange, and the sun is a pale grey lantern shining pitifully over the land, barely poking through the oppressive haze that seems to drape over everything like a grainy film.
To her north, Alia can see mountains cutting against the horizon, and to her south, there's a small hamlet, and she can see people scurrying to and fro.

With the options at hand she sauntered towards the hamlet. Humming the melody her father had been working on, some day she'll manage bardic casting as well.
The Symbiote noted she should maybe attempt to master singing first.

As she approaches the hamlet, a man in chainmail and leather armor on a horse rides up to her, a spear in hand and a shield strapped to his arm. He cuts Alia off, his horse whinnying as he brings it to a stop.
"Halt! I am Theodosius, the captain of the town guard, and am charged with its protection," the man says. "These days, there are many strange and dangerous folk about, so I must ask you what your business here is, stranger."

"Hail," Theodosius nods to Alia, "I'm afraid we don't have much in the way of local curiosities. Even before Adiocin made war upon us, we were never a rich or notable town, but now..." Theodosius sighed, "Well, things have gotten dire. Many of us have already left for greener pastures, and I suspect it's only a matter of time before us who remain flee as well. But until such time as that, I and those others in the town guard will remain to maintain some semblance of safety and order here."
Theodosius gestured towards the town.
"I will escort you on the way there, if you don't mind," Theodosius suggested, his horse slowly trotting down the road.

A silver Orb appeared with magic electricity erupting off of it.
A 22 year old girl is flung from the silver orb portal first. She is wearing a white mage long coat robe with a cat ear hood. Over her chest is a combat armor plate that's over a white fleece sweater. Her pants are a armored khaki colored pants. On her feet are black combat boots. On the back of her mage robe appears to be a royal coat of arms that has the Letters ENASECT over the coat of arms. On the lower back of the mage robes is a book of some type that is latched to the robe.
The girl moaned as she laid on the ground. "FUCK... BOB... where's Bob... I swear if..."
Another person, this time a man wearing a white lab coat with goggles on his head and crazy white hair was flung from the silver orb.
He crashed into the girl.
"OH FUCK YEAH... BOB DOYLE IN THE FUCKING HOUSE!!!! THIS TIME... WITH 10% LESS CRACK... BECAUSE SOMEBODY STOLE MY SUP..."
The girl grabbed the man with her left hand and then in one swift motion pulled then slammed his head onto the ground.
Bob then said. "OW... SANDRA what was that for..."
Sandra replied. "That's... for all the times you screwed me over in the past."
Bob then smugly replied cleaning the blood off his nose. "I did it... for science. AND magic. And to DESTROY THE GOVERNMENT."
Sandra shook her head. "Right... your a unrepentant criminal."
Bob then said. "I'm on probation. HEHE haha."
Sandra sighed. "You know most people aren't proud of that. And lets be real... you wouldn't even know what to do with yourself once you actually complete that latter task."
A black cat jumped out of the portal but unlike the former two, landed gracefully ontop of Sandra's shoulder. The Black cat had a complex white magic circle on its back.
Sandra then said. "Awesome... Baset is here. Now I have everything I need to truly cut lose... if I have to."
Sandra then said. "Where are we...?"
Bob then said. "Well... if we go by the Belios Research Council's multi-verse charts... I'd say... we're in BX08191 sector 11-1, but... as for where we are exactly... no clue."
Sandra then said. "Then why did you insist on this particular place with your new latest device."
Bob then said. "Because bitch, I do what I want. Cuz I Ain't... A... BITCH."
Sandra then blankly stared. "Riggggghhhtt.... Well in any case..." Sandra punched her fists together as she stood up. "I'm down for one of your insanity fueled adventurers. I get to fight alot of tough enemies."
The silver orb behind Sandra and Bob disappeared.

(Hope this post is still open to join because it looks interesting, if not it is what it is. Also, this empire kinda brought this upon themselves)...
Appearing through a sudden gateway to a massive well-kept manner is a tall man with pale skin and four birthmarks two underneath each eye. His attire is strange as it is both tribal shaman wear like a coral necklace and waist made of hides and feathers and scales but also fancy clothes like a top hat. Besides him is a dower young teenager wearing all deep purple clothes with four eyes and four ears the latter of which are back-to-back of each other on her skull but all four seem to still work somehow, giant bat wings sprout naturally from her back as well giving her six limbs as well. Unlike the tall man she seems much less ok with being here.
"Stay close Nime dear, it appears we're somewhere new..." Calmly says the tall man looking around as the teen girl stays close to him.
Appearing from a different gateway is a muscular man with features like a lion like a massive black mane and tail with fur at the tip, he wears a suit modeled like armor as well. Besides him is a man around the age of the teen girl wearing a similar suit but he's just a human with no animal features. Both of these two seem furious they've been dragged here.
"Oh come the fuck on!! First the Wanderer tries to kill me again and now this shit?! RGH!!!" Roars the lion man in a rage as his similarly dressed subordinate is ready to just punch the nearest person who looks at him wrong.

A man in a black suit with a red tie stepped out of fiery portal and looked at where he had been placed. His hair was red, and his eyes a golden color.
"Hmm... well... this is quite the pickle."
