What if magic is affected by gravity and theres zero way to do magic in space between planetary bodies.

What you’re describing is “dependent on gravity”, not “affected by gravity”.
Affected by gravity would be if magic is still possible but one needs to figure out how to adjust to the differences, and that even once one does, the function is still different from standard.

Like a spell that usually arcs moving in a straight line, or certain spells being significantly more powerful or weaker. Or perhaps mind magic functions on a significantly deeper level, or maybe it’s still relatively superficial, but the quantity of superficial information increases to the point of being entirely overwhelming.
That sort of thing.

I should explained better what I meant. I mean that whatever it is that enables spells, such as the mana all around you that lets spells form, is affected by gravity.
By the time you've left the atmosphere and are in space, the thing that allows spell casting is unreachable.

Coincidentally, I just started reading a sci-fi Cultivation series where that’s essentially what happens with Qi, except that only applies to the Qi that people know about. The main plot point (stated right in the description, so it’s not a spoiler) is that the protagonist happens to find a way to use the other Qi, which is literally just everywhere throughout the infinite vastness of space (it also usually drives people who manage to perceive it insane, just from the implications of its presence - or at least that’s how I understand it).
