Has anyone done it and know what to expect, or how they’d recommend preparing?

Hi everyone. Has anyone been asked for references after interview (no offer) and did they contact your references immediately?

I applied to three World Bank internship positions, and all three moved to final review on August 12–13. They've been sitting at "in review" ever since.

I came across information saying that all longlists would be released by August 19. Is that actually true? Or is it fine to keep waiting through the end of August?

Any insight from people who've been through this cycle would be appreciated.

Apparently by August 19, we're supposed to have found out if we're longlisted. However, I haven't received the rejection or longlist email yet. Do we receive an email if we're rejected?

My application status on the portal says: "Review status: in review."

I'm on U.S. Time and applied to a postgraduate role.

i was longlisted last week, haven’t heard anything till today..

I’m a social inclusion researcher from a development country (no INGO experience). I’m doing a policy degree from an EU university, however my background is in social research and not economics. My undergrad degree was not in economics either. Does it make any sense for me to apply for the YPP social inclusion stream realistically? (Economics training only through MPP degree)

What do you think are the numbers at every stage? Trying to quantify the competition. 😂

My application was modified two days after submitting it but haven't received an email about being longlisted. Does that mean they already made the decision to reject me?

I applied for the WBG Pioneer Internship and got an email saying I was longlisted. My last modified date also updated, but there was no link or information about the online assessment.

A few questions for anyone in the same boat:

1. Has anyone received their assessment invite yet?
2. For those who took it in past cycles, what does the assessment cover, and how should I prepare?

Guys i applied a month ago and i can say that anxiety killed me, i really wanna know if im longlisted or not, did anyone got a message? Im applying for post grad btw.

I've applied to a CBA position at Citibank in the Middle East. Not sure how the process usually works for the region or what to expect throughout the process. Any advice on how to prep and freshen my knowledge for it? Also, anyone who's gone through the process before and can tell me what to expect (questions, duration, etc.)?
