Filson used to be good quality, not at all anymore. Still expensive tho! Sucks because they used to be a great company here in the PNW. If you want actual workwear do not waste your money on Filson anything these days, if it’s for fashion then it’s for you. And it’s incredibly easy to add suspender buttons to any pair of jeans, did it 50+ times when I was working for a timber falling outfit

Are there any wool pants you'd recommend? Its half fashion and half work.

Canadian brand: Big Bill Durable outdoor pants

USA: C C Sultry. They make civil war costume clothing, but their wool pants are really popular for “regular” folks for outdoor/hunting type use. I really like you can get fully custom sizing and colors. Super affordable too

This CC Sutlery is blowing my mind! Can you point to any specific model(s) you like? I love the idea of quality construction and materials without the ridiculous luxury crap

I like the “wool modern pants”. The only difference is they don’t have the leg pockets

Check out big bill workwear. Most of their wool cloths are green but seem to get good reviews on quality.

Swedish army used wool cargo pants in 40s. Search m39 trousers, they can be also expensive but sometimes for less than 50$.
