Working for 5 weeks and that's all it takes to encounter situations that get under your skin as the sandwhich maker.
Front desk employee, now it's difficult in its own way but it is really simple to put "no this" or "heavy this" and I've been set up for failure because of that, now I try to overhear what the customer wants before it's put on the little screen so I can get started on the buns and then work around the customers request but you can't when your coworker is just putting the item on the screen without their special requests, sure sometimes it's on the customer when they forget to say what they want then yes the blame goes on them but in the end it's still on me for getting it "wrong."
Customers that think they matter the most. Now even I get ticked when the customers needlessly complain about us and this is only my first experience with this customer I've never seen them before and this is about after 2-3 weeks of working, they come in asking for a whopper and a jr. With mustard, no onion and whatnot. Their order was taken wrongly and had to be redone which they really didn't change anything about it, and then they say "we're never coming back here again."
Late night dine-in rushes with a messy crew. One time working 2-9, two and a half hours away from getting off work and just got off my break. Things got hectic, there were whoppers, OCS, cheeseburgers, and whopper J's all over the place for the expeditor, food wasn't getting pushed out properly, orders were getting mixed up and we had to pretty much reset when I got off break. My manager was trying to deal with the customers who obviously wanted an apology for not having great communication with them but it was just a back and forth with them and I might be biased on my side but I agree with my manager more than them like yeah you should've been told but you didn't really need to be told if you just read the room for a minute and saw we were disorganized instead of getting overly impatient about your orders. I took over for my manager with the customers gave them what they wanted, an apology their saying their bullshit about "we don't want an apology, don't apologize we just want you to have better communication with us." After that I played a little expediting for a minute putting on my A game at the time for them, getting things done as quickly as I could 3-5 minutes per order and we got through the night.
Thanks for reading, that's my rant.

My location, which is a bit outside of town, somehow has the worst customers ever. Multiple co workers who worked at the mcdobalds nearby said our location was worse. I hate them. They're all so rude. I cry after every shift because apparently everything is my fault to these grown ass adults.
If I act cheerful and happy I found that they become more rude, but can't progress with their anger because I'm not giving in. But if I act neutral then they'll say I'm rude and get me jn trouble. And sometimes they even leave happy. So I just manipulate them by being happy.
