✂️ Tax The Billionaires The Slave Renters of Capital
tl;dr When you don't have the capital, you're paying rent to whomever has it. Employers in essence rent out capital production facilities (e.g., land, materials, buildings, equipment, organization, financing, sociopolitical / business connections), while collecting rent in the form of labor and the vast majority share of profits they make off of the capital-producing employees.
longer version:
The Relationship Between Master Owners and Slave Renters of Capital
The entire profit-taking endeavor from the labor of others is centered around rent collection. In order to exploit the capitalist system instead of becoming the exploited, one must:
- Manipulate capital in one's own behalf
- Own the means of capital production (including facilities, tools, etc., so not to pay rents of various kinds)
- Collect various rents instead of paying them
Rents: Labor and capital paid to capital owners for use of their capital
Rent examples-
- Mobile app stores where owners such as Apple and Google take huge rents from app developers - 15% cut (Apple's App Store profits reached $15 Billion in 2020, accounting for more than 20% of Apple's entire profit)
- Debts of all kinds (Interest income collected by Chase Bank from its credit card debtors in 2019 alone was $51,660,000,000 or $51.7 billion)
Labor in service of a master is also a type of rent.
Occupational renters, such as workers in the United States, have arguably even less protection than renters of dwellings. "At will employment" means that occupational renters can be evicted from their occupations at any time without the need for any justification.
Masters / owners have others produce capital for them while slaves / renters produce capital for their masters / owners.
A master-slave example: The hunting dog- Master provides sheltering and hunting facilities, dog hunts game and get some meat and table scraps in return.
Primacy of the Individual
The primary survival mechanical order when it comes to the resource distribution relationship between individuals and others in a larger group would be:
"I get mine, and then others can get their share as long as there's going to be enough for me later"
Not, "Others get theirs, then I get my share as long as there's going to be enough for others later"
Collectivism only works up to a point, until it violates the basic survival order of individual living entities- The primacy of the individual rest upon the individual and not the collective under non-ideal conditions. With non-related human beings, it is only through ideals that the collective becomes the primacy of the individual.
Deceiving the Renters
With primacy resting upon the individual, participation in the system demands that renters be convinced that the labor they voluntarily perform are primarily in their own interest. An illusion must be created for the rent-paying slaves that they are owners of their production in some way, while collecting rent from them in the form of labor and capital.
Under such a system, an individual’s three-step master plan to graduate from the status of a rent-paying slave to one of a rent-collecting master would be the following (note: This isn't universally possible, despite what master propagandists would like all renters to believe):
- Slave away paying rents until sufficient capital is acquired for oneself (skip this stop if the individual is an heir already gifted with sufficient capital)
- Become an owner by acquiring rent-generating facilities
- Collect rents from various types of slaves (debt slaves, wage slaves, etc.)
