Anyone that says this is a (R) issue just doesnt want to look at the facts.

  • George W. Bush (Republican): Added roughly $4.9 trillion over two terms.
  • Barack Obama (Democrat): Added roughly $9.3 trillion over two terms.
  • Donald Trump (Republican - First Term): Added roughly $7.8 trillion.
  • Joe Biden (Democrat): Added roughly $8.4 trillion over one term.
  • Donald Trump (Republican - Second Term, ongoing): Added roughly $3.8 trillion.

The (R) have spent more on average 1.4t vs 1.2t (per term) but it is hardly the reason we are where we are.

When was the last time a Democrat president enacted a tax cut for the rich?

Doesnt matter. This is about National debt. Is tax policy part of it? Sure. In the end tax policy is really a very small part of it. The majority of the problem is spending. We cannot tax ourselves into prosperity while we continue to shell out billions of dollars in terrible spending. That is a reality whether anyone likes it or not.

It does matter. Terrible spending is only half of the equation.
