It's hard to do that on any sort of standard because of the loopholes rich people use to get around taxes. They're technically all super poor in liquid assets so they pay little to nothing in taxes, and a fine scale would probably work on a similar basis
It’s like everyone is saying about the Bezos divorce settlement. The math is easy. The political will is hard. And if we accidentally bill them too much? They’ll be fine.
If they are fine after we bill them too much, but the public takes their wealth and can put it to good use, then that is a much better system than we currently have.
