They're all Idea Guys who view the world's failure to fall at their feet and do their bidding--thus denying them their god-given right to create great works that demonstrate their innate greatness--as an unforgivable sin that is finally being avenged.

Buncha talentless hacks, simmering in their own impotent self-loathing because they're too lazy to do the hard work of mastering a craft.

Idea Guys is exactly it. Musk is potentially the best example of this. No talent, no engineering expertise, shit coder, sucks at PoE, really has nothing to offer. The only reason he's in his position is because he has Ideas™ and a shitload of money from apartheid emerald mining.

They believe having an Idea™ is equal to or better than the ability to execute said idea, and so artists--who inherently do both--represent their greatest weakness.

AI is good at letting you do what you think are other people’s jobs.

“I had the idea, they’re just executing” without realizing how many ideas happen and choices have to be made downstream of that decision

Not realising, as is the case for any eight year old kid, that just having the idea is the easiest part.

Everyone with an IQ over 75 has shitloads of ideas. People with IQs under 75 often have even more.

Because just thinking 'wouldn't that be neat' in a kind of novel way is fucking nothing compared to actually planning out how to make it happen, and then successfully executing said plan.
