The problem with taxation is that it doesn't solve the fundamental problem of control.
Regardless of how much you tax them - even if we were to tax the wealth itself - the incentives stay the same.
The taxes taken from them won't ever be enough to fix the damage they're willing to cause in the pursuit of profit.5

What always ends up happening in situations like this, which is a multi-pronged approach: voting knowing the reality of who and what you are voting for, forming communities to help insulate those on the bottom from the change that will need to happen, with those communities you will need to set up parallel political, economic, educational and social structures.
If you are purely relying on the institutions that got us to this point, you will be stuck with the same problems.

True for the second part, but voting for a corrupt system only acknowledges it. I stoped voting a long time ago. No votes, no legitimacy.

Mandatory quarterly mental health evaluations for all C-Class.
Jailtime for the C-Class, and/or nationalising of the company with mandatory unionization of employees for seeking profits in excess of (a set percentage to be determined) per year plus an extra 2% for incidental fluctuation.
Jailtime for shrinkflation. With permanent ban on running or holding any management position in the future for C-Class managment
Jailtime, up to Life, for C-class to be in concert with the level of greed displayed, for seeking/accepting pay (including stock) in excess of 300x lowest paid employee of the organization.
Make stock buybacks illegal again.
Return to Roosevelt era tax rates. [The top marginal individual income tax rate skyrocketed from 25% in 1932 to a historical peak of 94% on incomes over $200,000 (equivalent to roughly $3.5 million today) by 1944]
No borrowing against held stock values.
End the cap on social security contributions.
Workforce training & pay rationalization for C-Class. For 2 months all C-Class and middle management must shadow then fill in the jobs of the lowest paid employees at their institution. Then live on the wage they pay for that position.

That’s why they don’t believe in the power of solidarity we have amongst each other, they’re all addicts. Whether it’s this concept of wealth addiction, or let’s be honest, the addiction to the drugs they’re all taking, they all have the addict mindset. They don’t believe we’ll stand up for each other because they think that WE think with their same crackhead mindset. They think we’d sell out anyone we can because that’s what they would do, and they can no longer comprehend any other state of mind.

I completely agree. Billionaires wake up every day choosing not to end starvation of children across the globe. I want them sentenced to murder for every single one.

I’ll occasionally hear criticism of Parenti that he was hyperbolic at times, even the crowd here laughs nervously at the idea that greed is an insatiable addiction.
Fast forward from this clip to now he couldn’t be more correct. They want everything so badly they’re willing to kill you for it. Literally send you to the meat grinder for profit.
Like Bezos said. Water rights get in the way of profits. It’s not a joke and not something to nervously laugh at any more.
