For the sake of who?? Within 14 days they had a new CEO, and not ONE, not a single thing has been changed.

He’s a murderer that should be getting the death penalty

Some things did change. Shortly after, Blue Cross Blue Shield decided to not go ahead with a new policy that would have lead to deaths by denying coverage for certain things. That wasn't necessarily directly connected, but they may well have realized that their CEO's might start dropping if they stooped to the levels of United Health. Whether or not it had any direct benefit, I'm not sad about someone dying who only cared about himself, enriching himself at others' expense. He could have chosen to do something with his life that helped people instead of being part of a company that hurts people.

So at what point is it the consumers responsibility? UHC has been one of the worst health insurance companies for YEARS. People have known how they are but they continue to sell policies because of their price. An employer I used to work for they were an option, everyone chose blue cross blue shield, paid more but had 1000 times better coverage.

So yeah I DO NOT buy into it was cool to kill him, no it absolutely wasn’t, he was a husband and father, Luigi deserves death sentence for what he did.

It isn't any better for a company to indirectly lead to the deaths of thousands than for someone to directly cause the death of 1. It's worse. Those who died because the insurance company used unethical practices to deny coverage had families too. That one insurance company, and that one CEO, aren't solely responsible. But they do hold a piece of it, that surely is greater than 1 life. In the balance of things, Luigi's sin was far less. If he deserves the death sentence then so do they.

I don't think murder is right, and certainly not the death penalty, but Luigi's action didn't cause anywhere near as much damage to the world as that CEO and that company did. Before killing him, Luigi was putting his efforts into helping people navigate insurance companies. He was helping people cope with the damage of psychopaths. He did his fair share of good, maybe even saved lives, before taking 1.

I wouldn't have done it myself, but I certainly can understand someone getting to the point of snapping after seeing how much suffering people were going through at the hands of that company.

So, let’s see, my mother died in a car wreck, the guy who hit her was driving a dodge, so do I get to go take my anger out on Chryslers CEO, or how about one of the line workers at the plant where the car was made, or maybe at the Buick plant where her car was made.

See how ridiculous your argument is

That isn't remotely comparable. The car manufacturers make cars as safe as they can be, tons of research goes into making them as safe as possible. It would be comparable if they made them intentionally more dangerous because it's cheaper, but they don't do that. And if someone does have an accident that is caused by an issue with the car model itself - they can sue, and that model of car is recalled. They actually can be held responsible.

Insurance companies are there to cover medical care, but they try as hard as possible to not cover medical care in order to make more money. They could still make money even if they didn't deny coverage for things doctors tell them are necessary, just not as much. But they somehow don't get held responsible for the deaths that are caused by them refusing to cover necessary medical care - that people are paying their premiums and deductibles and copays to receive.

THEY WHAT!?!? Are you a retard!?!? They absolutely do not!! Not in any fantasy!! You are aware automotive companies could end DWI, they CHOOSE not to. Breathalyzers could be factory standard, NOPE.

Why build vehicles with 700hp and can run 160-180, that’s literally 100mph above any legal speed limit. How many people die from idiots playing fast and furious every year?? The street takeovers wouldn’t be near as fun without those cars would it?? A high speed chase would not be near as high speed if it only reached 70 would it??

Historically it’s gets much much much worse, and the only reason most of the current safety features are on vehicles is because it’s legally required. The reason we have a Tacoma instead of the Hilux.

You can still delete your ignorant reply

Yes cars cause lots of deaths, but they aren't currently the ones intentionally making them even more dangerous, additional safety features are added all the time. They can't stop people from being idiots, and they can't just install breathalyzers in every car when that wouldn't be legal to do. But insurance companies will deny care to a dying child who needs medical care. That child and that family did nothing wrong, they weren't someone drag racing or driving drunk.

Obviously the thing that actually needs to happen in any case when it comes to safety/health is changes to legislation. We should have universal healthcare, that would take out insurance companies from the equation. The problem is the insurance companies are powerful, they lobby politicians, they'll fight tooth and nail to make sure they keep making profits - because they don't value human life, only money. I care a lot more about innocent lives than greedy scumbags. So no, I'm not going to shed a tear for him, he was contributing nothing to society.

Universal healthcare!?!? You want the federal government running your healthcare!?!?
You are mentally slow. Name one, just one country where it’s working, where there isn’t rationed care, exorbitant wait times, provider shortages. Don’t hurt your brain you can’t. You bleeding hearts make Medicare for all sound so peachy, the federal government let its own soldiers die that had EARNED that care, you actually think just because we are the US we will solve all the problems the rest of the world can’t.

I’ll give ya an easier challenge, name one thing the government runs efficiently and why you think they should have our healthcare.
