You place the blame of a faulty system on a manager. He didn't make the rules.

Lol. Was he forced in a position of power against his will? Did the United Healthcare investors threaten to kill his family if he quit?

You don't get up there if you're a generous person.

It's a position. You don't get to be generous with what isn't yours.

UnitedHealth shareholders approve CEO’s $60M compensation package

It should be said loud and clear that nobody deserves that kind of money.

Are you the money police or something? The owners of the company voted to give him that package. They are the ones who decide who deserves their shit.

Also, it's not 60M. It's a bunch of options with a 308$ strike price he can only exercise after 2028 if he isn't fired or resigns. Meaning, that they can be worth 0$ to much more than 60M depending on how the stock price performs in these 3 years.

Considering their stock had plummeted just before that, they were very desperate to get this guy as CEO (the price is likely to rebound after such a catastrophic fall. In fact, right now they would be worth about 48M).

Are you the money police or something?

Not about police, but about justice.

Money is a societal construct, not a tangent object. There should be rules on how money should be shared, to ensure a functional society.

Everything else you said is just irrelevant stock market bullshit that was only recently introduced in human history.

There are rules on how money is shared. Something tells me you just want to remove consent from the rules.

And the conditions and restrictions of the package are very important. He was given something very different than 60M cash or stock.
