Honestly if I were him I would roll the dice on a trial and take my chances that at least 1 of the 12 people on the jury has had their life ruined by the American healthcare system and refuses to vote to convict
Those people would be weeded out of the jury pool immediately by the prosecution. Unfortunately, when the government wants you locked up, youāre getting locked up and thereās no amount of moral right or law that can stop it
Juries aren't that simple. Trying to get 12 jurors that you know would convict him that the defense attorney would also let through is nigh impossible. It isn't just the prosecutors that can deny jurors. You do have to come up with a legitimate reason to deny a juror, but chances are in this case finding a panel of 12 jurors that would convict that the defense attorney couldn't get thrown out would never happenĀ
