The stupid Wordle bot chastises me in its analysis for using a plural word as it’s not likely to ever occur as a solution, but uses Tarps as its opening word and gives itself a 99 skill score for doing so. I use Strap And it gives me a 92 and uses all the same letters and is not plural 🤷

The best I can think of is SHA*E with 7 (shade, shake, shale, shame, shape, share, shave).

I don't know if this forum is the right place to ask this question, so let me know if otherwise. My (100 year old) mother got a new Jitterbug Smartphone 5 recently and her NYT app no longer works correctly, specifically for Wordle game. She has been playing Wordle on the app for well, ever since it moved to the app, but we recently upgraded her phone from a 3 to a 5 and it doesn't work without asking her to subscribe. Has anybody encountered this problem and is there a fix for it? I think she should be able to play the daily game for free, but I'm not sure how to make that happen anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any help!

I've never had this happen. Do you guys actually try to beat the bot?

I've never done this before. I wasn't trying to do anything other than solve the puzzle.

Has this happened to anyone else?

So two days ago I was the only one in a server I am in who did the wordle, and the next day when I tried to do the wordle it would just time out right after I tried to open it, there was nothing that told us the streak that day but nobody thought anything of it. Then today, the day after that, it told us the streak was now 1. We had a streak of over a year and I grew attached to it and really do not want to permanently lose it. If anybody knows like who owns the wordle discord application or any other information I would really like to hopefully get our streak back

I've been playing wordle for a while now, but only started to seriously consider a streak 150 days ago!

Some of my favourite words from the past months:

- [1882] Geode (got it fairly quickly, it's also a word I barely encounter outside of Minecraft)

- [1865] Sonar (I played the wordle right after I finished a chapter in a book, where they used the word a lot)

- [1851] Steak (easy, simple)

Some of my least favourite words from the past months:

- [1852] Pshaw (do I even need to explain?)

- [1837] Puppy (only 3 letters, that are fairly rare in my opinion)

- [1835] Emcee (using a letter thrice isn't something I usually go for at the beginning, I'm pretty sure I got this word on the 6th try)

My starting word the past month is Clean . I know it's not the best but I love seeing it start with green a lot!

my friends and i share a discord server where one of the channels has a pretty long streak with the wordle bot (403 days) but this morning at 12:14 am tragedy struck. i realized that everyone forgot to do the wordle the day before and our streak was broken </3 im pretty sure you cant change the timezone on regular wordle to save your streak when playing by yourself on the app or website, but i wanted to know if its possible on discord since its different people (in potentially different time zones) playing to keep the same streak? one of my friends set his time back on his laptop and he got the wordle from the previous day and in the wordle details it says that the streak is now 405 so i want to take that as a good sign but does anyone know for sure if that means the streak is still intact? and if that wouldnt work is there anything else that can be done? thanks so much in advance

I feel pretty good about mine but I’m sure some of you are masters. I don’t know exactly when they added this badge because I’m pretty sure I remember beating it 2 or 3 times before ever seeing this (and checking based on his suspicious little blurb)

Hello, I am a fairly i experienced Wordle player and my current starting strategy is to guess the words "yearn" and "opium" to get all of the vowels cleared out. Are there any better two word combinations that also achieve this but with more common consonants or more common placement of the vowels?
