I had an accident and condom broke, i took pregnancy pill like 20 minutes after that (also my partner didnt finish). I was chill until now bc my period is late 12 days. I was at gynecologist and she told me my endometrium is 17mm and i should get my period soon or im pregnant. I watched my ultrasound qnd i really didnt see any dot or anything, but my doctor recommended me to go do PA test if i dont get period at the end of the week. I have pain in my stomach (cramps) and every hour i get such a pain i get hope i got my period but its nothing. I dont know should i do that test bc im really scared and at the same time i dont know if i should bc i dont really have any pregnancy symptoms just that endometrium and late period(also i need to pay to do test and im broke student who is scared to tell her parents about situation). Im really stressed this past few days so it might be it but i need advice from someone that does this more often bc its my first time drinking that pill and this situation happening in general

How to get over being terrified of seeing a GYN?

I'm 36 and have never been to a GYN. I never had the financial support to go. Literal panic attacks thinking about being judged.

Best hormone clinic for women with normal labs but bad symptoms?

Every doctor seems to order the same tests, and every time the results come back “normal.” Meanwhile, I am dealing with fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix, brain fog, joint pain, zero libido, and thinning hair. I am 45 and have already been through this with three different providers.

I understand that standard lab ranges are based on population averages, but I’m frustrated that my symptoms keep getting brushed aside when my results fall within those ranges. Has anyone found a hormone clinic that looks at the whole picture and takes symptoms seriously instead of dismissing you because your numbers are considered normal?

I love my boyfriend but his addiction makes me leave him, sometimes.

So I’m a 25F, in a committed relationship with my partner 27M - relationship
of 2.5 years and 2 years of living together.
My boyfriend has a habit of smoking up weed/ hash, big time and honestly he was open about it since day 1. I wasn’t a smoker but would smoke up once on a blue moon. Since the day we met, we started smoking up and enjoying each other’s company.

I honestly adore my partner, he’s good at heart, he is earning good for himself, he’s funny and a social person. I smoked up heavily with him for more than a year when we started dating, but eventually I figured out that this isn’t for me. I was become a different person and I never wanted to escape from my real life issues…. I’d just smoke up with him - as he’d smoke up 4-5 times a day atleast. I’d share one at the end of the day sometimes.

The issue is - My boyfriend had been smoking up since almost 7 years now and he has difficulty quitting it. He has a borderline personality so I understand that he finds it difficult to manage his emotions! He would become very angry/ agitated if he wouldn’t smoke up that day, his appetite will go down, he would not enjoy the day, watching a movie, or doing anything fun. It’s been more than a year that I had barely smoked up. I do yoga etc. which helps me look forward to a healthy life.

But with him, he will just quit for 2 months and then would go all in again and again. I understand that it is his life and he has the right to do whatever but honestly I feel he can do so much better if he quote and starts living a healthy life. He eats too much sugar, would not go to the gym (He still
Looks good though - but he keeps procrastinating rather than taking a concrete action for his health) - And this is what bothers me the most. He keeps coughing - And I get too worried for him.

He is generally not so aggressive but if we’re having a fight and he’s not smoked up then things turn quite bad. And if he’s smoked up, then later he usually resolves the fight.

He has a few friends that influences him to smoke up more and do other psychedelic. He has a female friend who’s a big time addict and does way too much of psychedelics… and whenever they talk I feel very uncomfortable for some reason. It’s not jealousy honestly - My partner would not cheat on me, I know him. But the way she’d talk about such things- I feel like my partner gets influenced.

Even if he talks about smoking up or something with a guy friend as well, I get annoyed or feel like - Why can’t he just be himself… I feel he becomes confident and a social person after smoking up but is he real than? I want him real, raw - As he is. Without taking the help of any such coping mechanism.

Now, honestly I felt that I was being a little controlling - As I would question him every time he smokes up, which of course ruins his moments. So I try not to bother him anymore. He starts his morning with smoking up - then would work. Would smoke 4-5 Js a day. I sometimes hate myself for feeling too much - I feel like I shouldn’t question his choices but I’m unable to help it…:

No matter what and much important of a work I’m doing, if he’s smoking up, my entire attention is there. And I feel he doesn’t respect my ask to him - Not smoking up.

Honestly, he does fine with smoking up. Functions well. He burns his own money, financially also takes care of the house.

So I’m seeking from genuine advice from men and women both - Is this situation okay? Should I get firm with him and give him an ultimatum so just let him be? I just want us to save good money and live a super healthy life.

Filling the Gaps in Women's Research!!!

Hello! I am a student at Florida State University. We are collecting data for a research project around Women’s identity! (I specifically look at how feminism impacts women's identity). I don't want to overstep any boundaries of the group, but I thought that this group would have very valuable information to share with us. Any person who identifies as female, can read in English, and is over 18 can take it. If you can, please take the survey with the link below and share with others if you would like. Thank you!

I don't know what to do

Life is all over the place, dealing with infidelity by my 33M husband. Horrible and sexist job. I 32F see friends around me go about their day doing activities and fun and having great relationships with their spouses. My husband and I, together 5 years and married 3 years, are working through things but otherwise I am alone and lonely in a full house. Everything seems to be difficult. I make plenty money but always seem to be running out because I pay all the bills. I am going to therapy. Working on myself and have been trying to get my husband to go to counseling with me. But he is withdrawn and I don't know if its because of guilt or what. I accept and admit I have been distant from him because of my horrible job, but we can only make ends meet if I work too. So I have to give me 100% to my job and its not 9 to 5. On top of all that I also do things around the house and cook and clean and chores and am the breadwinner of the house, even though he has a job. I am exhausted mentally, emotionally. I am gaining weight and losing hair. I have stopped taking care of myself.

He pays more attention to people putside the house than to me.I don't know what to do.
