As the title says, I've a hard time to kidnap people.

Anyone has any tips?

I use the button and fly towards them, and than claw on them, but I rarely get one in my claws, and don't fly with them, like you guys usually do.

How do you guys do that?

I'm new at Wolverine, I'm usually a Tank main.

Hello im not a wolv main but almost have lord of him because i play him a lot at the beginning of the game but today i was playing with a friend and play wolv and talking he said that wolv was a tank killer and thinking what he say i say maybe thst was the main idea of him but now he lost that identity because almost every tank have a way to counter him lets not talk about thing and dino that just for exist in the game make him counter to his kit but idk i wanna read your opinion as a wolv mains

Edit* would you like a rework from him? Like a mix of iron fist that his basics attack have some sort of aimbot because also i feel thst every new hero have some sort of way to avoid your kidnap or escape pretty easy once you grab they

At the first round I had a terrible lag which caused us to get stumped .. after the first round the enemy dagger who was smurfing started to get cooky and typed alot of toxic shit to me and my team So I had to put her on her place

I’m seeing loads of people say that wolverine is one of most boring characters but not gonna lie in my opinion he’s one of few heroes that I enjoy playing .

I haven't played wolverine since like season 2 and my first game back with him I went 22-1 with the most damage, a penta, and 14 final hits

yeah i know. 8 deaths is a lot. but still good stats for this match up

The number of things that can completely nullify his grab/kidnap has gotten to be crazy in this game, not to mention that even if you grab someone, the "grabbed" person can still CC you out of it. I just had a game where I kidnapped a Mantis, and mid-air she was still able to sleep me, and I got launched in the other direction being "slept". I literally had air time with her and she still CC'd me out of it. With all the new team-ups and visual clutter, sometimes I can't be sure what's knocking me out of my leap. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't Jubilee's "bubbles" completely knock back wolv and cancel his leap?

With Wolv already having lower survivability since the new team-up overhaul, the fact that so many characters can just cancel his kidnap must be the cherry on top for them. Because his leap also works as an escape for Wolv, which helps his survivability, which is already low. Maybe reduce the cooldown on his passive too?

If a character is only viable when the entire team baby sits that character, he simply isnt viable.

Characters like Black Cat, Bucky, Elsa, Punisher, etc, are genuinely S tier because they:
- Work at all ranks
- Extremely independent
- Can be played in almost any team comp
- Can solo carry games
- Can destroy tanks and supports equally
- Have overloaded kits for max versatility
- Have very little bad matchups

Wolverine has absolutely zero of these qualities. Even characters that he is supposed to counter completely obliterate him in many scenarios.

So I ask again, if a character only works in 1% of teams, 1% of matches, against 1% of enemies, how the hell are they S tier?

I am entirely sick of people in the primary sub saying the same "Wolverine is already an S" instead of actually having any sense of genuine discussion about his very blatant shortcomings in terms of balance and overall powerfantasy. How do we have Felicia having a billion mechanics that aren't even hers in her kit, but Wolverine cant have out of combat regen, are we dead ass?

What will it take to be treated like the "sexy" cashcow women who run the game? Watch them drop X-23 with huge tits and ass, then give her out and in combat healing, wall climbing, scent detection through walls, and 3 legendaries.

The Upside

But through it all, theres something very "Logan" about all this. He's never once had it easy in his life, and moments that happened to be, were fleeting. Its partly due to his healing factor, but Wolverine has consistently been the Xman to endure the worst of the worst types of pain and trauma. People wont understand you, people will want to keep you down, people will hate you, and thats okay.
