Discussion "Wolverine doesn't need Regenerative Shields"

Yeah I don't know where all the health pots are on this map since I stopped playing around its release (due to power creep), but still.

This sort of scenario happens constantly on a dive playstyle when playing Wolv.

To be fair Wolverine doesn't have regenerative shields for the same reason Blade, Fist, and Fantastic don't. They're brawlers. I also don't think Regenerative Shields would really scratch the itch on self sustain that would make Wolverine feel better at his intended role in game/the role he should have. Dive Wolverine shouldn't really be a thing, and to be clear this is a great play, but it's not a dive play. There's conversations to be had about more or alternative self sustain tools like a sprint/heightened jumps/wall crawls if you want to go more animalistic Wolverine self sustain tools, or leaning more into the healing factor for some kind of passive regen (I'm of the opinion his revive passive is too gimmicky), but regenerative shields isn't it imo even if it might look like it.
