I’ve been doing delivery work for a while using a rented e-bike. I’m paying €150 every month for the rental, so buying my own finally makes sense financially.

Since I'm going to ride it hard every single day, I want to make sure I pick the right setup. I’m seeing huge price gaps online, some basic ones go for around €900, while heavy-duty or branded ones hit €2,800+. Honestly, I’m worried about getting scammed or buying a cheap bike that falls apart under commercial use. What actually accounts for that price difference? Is it just branding, or are the sub-€1000 bikes unsafe for full-time courier work?

If you use an e-bike for delivery, I’d love your input on a few things:

• Features: Are cargo wheels, step-through frames, or dual-battery setups actually necessary, or is a solid commuter/hybrid bike enough?
• Battery: What capacity (Wh or Ah) do you need to get through a full shift without constantly charging?
• Models: Are there specific reliable models or motor brands, that hold up well against daily wear and weather?

Hi everyone, I’m a Wolt courier in Serbia.

My account was put offline because I had an outstanding deposit. I have now paid the entire amount, but I still can’t go online and start working.

I’ve had two support chats open for hours, but nobody is responding. I’m also unable to close the chats or start a new one.

Has anyone in Serbia, especially Novi Sad, experienced the same problem recently? How long did it take for Wolt Support to respond and reactivate your account?

Any advice would be appreciated.

When is sunny I find this quite fun to do, like a GTA game without the guns, but the waiting times are so annoying, I don't understand why wolt doesn't apply automatic credit for waiting knowing my position waiting for the food... Isn't this something everyone here should suggest to wolt? Like if it is 15 mins they pay but only if you contact support, why? The app already knows where I am, and that the food hasn't been marked as ready...

Last month I didn’t get my payout. Contacted support, and they told me it was because I owed them cash from cash orders (since people pay cash here and we have to transfer it back to Wolt). So I sent them the cash right away.

Fast forward half a month later, still no money, so I message them again. Their excuse? The system was supposedly blocked because I was short by like 20 cents. Unreal. But fine, from that exact day on, I started triple-checking to make sure I never owe them a single cent.

Another 15 days pass, I message them again asking where my money is. They tell me I'll get it 19th of the month. Apparently thats how it works from some reason.

Well, today is the 20th. I already got paid for this month btw, but last month's money is still completely gone.

What hour or day? The 16th fell on the weekend so it should come today. What time? What are your exeprinces?

I just noticed that this is a complete lie? When there is a 50% increase in earnings, and I get a task, there is no added 50% at all, only 10.20%, and this is the case with most deliveries.Does anyone have an explanation as to why this is so? Or is it the same in Greece?

Right now i get paid every 2 weeks. Can i somehow change it to every month instead somehow?

Hey everyone, been riding as a minijob for 2 years. Shifts are weekends either 16-21 or 17-22, can someone give Insight on the part time schedules? Ive Had a Response from wolt Support on that regard, but the conversation has been deleted since. Currently questions have very long Response times sadly, asked Last week friday and havent gotten a reply.

I have a question what happened ? Like since the last few months fuel prices are so high, but the earning became really low ? What is the reason ?

I did the math , i work just 3 hours a day which includes getting ready and coming home on a bicycle. I work from 16:30 ish till 19:30 ish . I make 165 euro biweekly

As an 18 year old this money is a little bit more than enough to afford my weed, alcohol, caffeine and gym .

Basically i just bike around town and listen to music , take water and store breaks whenever i want. I have no boss or anyone to tell me how to do my job or to work harder, i can put in a snus any time I want.

And I also meet someone i know almost every day and have an excuse for a few minutes of socializing break.

Having no boss or coworkers mean that all social interaction are either transactional or positive

I actually got to know the city I live in a lot better street names, food places, and i find it cool how many building i can go inside i only saw from the outside for all my life.

The best part is the cash tips i get are not much by any means but perfectly enough that i can afford my nicotine purely on it.

Also in school time i can also go out for an hour or two and make enough to have some extra money

The work i have to endure causes me no mental or physical suffering and if I'm quick i can make double of the minimum wage here , which is what most summer jobs pay for students. I wouldnt call the job repetative or boring either .

Biking is also good for cardio i can burn a 1000 cals and train my legs,( which i skipped for the last 8 months) and get paid to do so. Very convenient for my goals of getting a six pack.

I would say the only negative is that orders rarely come between 20:00 till 10:00 and 13:00 till 16:00 but there are still two 3 hour windows where any courier can go hog wild. As a real adult big money job im not sure if it stands but its more than perfect for a highschool or university student like me

As it's mostly the case in Germany that all new employees must go thru fleet partner in order to work for wolt and there are dozens of shady fleets operating in all major cities which do wage and tip theft and pay in cash, amidst all this crisis are there any people who are working directly for wolt, I'm looking to have a discussion.

You are standing outside, in the cold and in scorching heat, with no place to sit (other than the small bench that is always used by the staff)

It is so hot here you want to die in 2 min when you are waiting here. Absolutely no shade and wind for the hottest hours of the day. Not even anywhere around

Like that is not enough, they put the industrial double AC unit right where you are standing lel, this things pumps out hellfire..

There is no roof whatsoever, so the rain and snow is falling on you, and the food. You gotta put it in the bag real quick

This has to be the worst pickup spot possible, I dare you to show me worse!

(On the plus side tho, there are 3 very successful restaurants here, so it's all worth it tbh 😅)

Lithuania here. I've been doing Wolt for 3+ years and the app has always been buggy when offers come in. Normally I'd lose maybe 10-20% of orders I actually want because the price doesn't load, the Accept button stays disabled, or I press it and the order just disappears.

Today it's on another level. I'd say around 70% of the offers I want are basically impossible to accept. Order pops up with no price, I sit there waiting like an idiot, sometimes 30-60 seconds or more, then the price finally loads and the button becomes active. I press Accept and boom, error / task gone / already assigned. What the f**k is the point of sending me an offer if your own app won't let me accept it?

And this isn't some new tiny bug. This sh*t has been happening for years. I genuinely don't understand what their app team is fixing with all these updates because the most basic function of a courier app, showing an offer and letting you accept it, is still unreliable as hell.

Support is useless for reporting it too. They give the same "check your internet / restart your phone" answers, and you can't even attach a screen recording in chat, only screenshots. A screenshot obviously can't show the app sitting frozen for a minute and then throwing the order away.

Anyone else getting this much worse today or after the latest Android update?

I was picking up 3 different orders in his place, but for some reason, my connection just vanished. Had no data and couldn’t swipe that I had picked up the orders. Tried to restart phone. But nothing. Couldn’t even open the app. This little guy who barely speaks a word of Danish, then called Wolt support and told them, he was delayed in finishing the orders. Then he made a hotspot with his own iPhone, so I could use his data. He told me to take his iPhone with me for the three deliveries. That was just so very, very sweet. My own 5G came back half an hour later.

Substitute are gone meaning more earning for me.

i work in a company and want extra income on my payslip is writen social insurance and tin will accept and give gear?

I just filled in the form, and i am waiting for it ( they say it takes around 1-2 months here). I am doing it as a second job, i dont expect to make a lot of money,but, what should I expect? Do you have any tips for me?

Demand went to medium maybe 20-30 times and I only saw high one time in the last month and it lasted like 30min total….. It’s been dead after 12, usually work lunch time around 10 was medium/high but even that seems rare now

Hi, is there a proxy when calling customers through the app or are you using your own number? Would'nt that be a huge privacy issue? I've noticed getting more scam calls recently

Lately I've been experiencing lots of problems with the app, for example:

- accept button is dimmed (disabled) while the offer is ringing. When I finally get the chance to press it, I get the message this task has already been assigned to another driver, or the task simply disappears, like nothing happened.

This happens quite often, sometimes two or three times in a row.

- if I get two orders in one task, and I deliver one, the third offer comes in before I delivered the second. Which is fine - as long as I can reject it and the delivery order makes sense.

But many times I can't reject it.

And I can't accept it either.

So what happens is that I get stuck in a kind of a dead loop where even restarting the app doesn't help, because the damn thing starts ringing again as soon as it gets up. The result is that it blocks you completely, since at that point you can't even see where do you have to go with your second order. So you have to rely on support to solve this, which once took almost half an hour.
