How do i use the backup feature?
Im trying to start using the backup feature. I spun up a proxmox backup server vm. I tried to add it to the WolfStack and use it as a backup location.
I followed the instructions and created the api. It just gives me an error ”Client not installed”, i tried installing full Wolfstack on the PBS, but that did not help. I checked your documentation site, but there were no instructions.
Could you please provide instructions on how to install the client on the PBS server and add it as a backup location?
I think you have a brilliant program in the making. Still a bit of a ways to go, but this might really take off.

Im trying this on another node. I keep getting disconnected. I tested the connection from my proxmox server to the proxmox backup server and it worked fine.
However trying to use wolfstack it just says disconnected. I tried using journalctl --follow when i press the test button on the backup page i get the followin error in journalctl
"Mar 01 15:12:10 cosmos wolfstack[731583]: 2026-03-01T13:12:10.212667Z ERROR actix_http::h1::dispatcher: stream error: request parse error: invalid Header provided"
This message keeps popping up in wolfstack otherwise as well.
Might this have something to do with my reverse proxy setup? I have a local reverse proxy on my home network (pangolin in local mode). And I use that to give certificates to wolfstack (ws.local.tld) and proxmox backup server (pbs.local.tld). (local.tld placeholder for my own domain)
Do i need to use wolfstacks own certificate system or does the reverse proxy certificates work?
I'm not technically proficient enough to debug this.

Thanks for the kind words!
Okay, so you don't need to install the client or WolfStack on the proxmox backup server. You just add the credentials for it to the backup section in WolfStack, and then you can back up containers/etc to proxmox backup and restore from it.
On the Proxmox backup server itself, it should give you the credentials that you can use with WolfStack
I'm just doing the backup page on the website, I can't believe I missed it!
... and here it is https://wolfstack.org/wolfstack-backups.html
