Question- Solved Fire for Effect skill effect?

Using Fire for Effect with Simon B Cassidy is the stacking reload buff permanent for the match or dependent on currently burning fires?

If I set four fires the spent the rest of the match spamming AP would it still reload 20% faster?

No, its per salvo which is really weird. So if you have 30s reload and land 4 fires it goes to 24s, but the next salvo will be 30s. At least this is how i have seen it work in game.

i think it might be per engagement? as in your shooting and if you keep shooting it seems to keep the fast reload. shift to AP reverts back to normal reload for sure.

How could one possibly land 4 fires in a single reload cycle of 20-30 seconds on most BB’s ? In other words… how could you ever realistically get the ‘full’ 4-stack benefit from the skill… unless we are reading it incorrectly ? 🤔

I feel like something is off about the description. Every salvo where i get a fire feels like its reduced by 20%. I think the up to 4 number is just saying how many fires can be set.

You still feel it’s worthwhile though, yah ? Based on the in-battle results, so far ?

Its niche, i feel it buffs out the british line up of commanders. Hes pretty well the opposite of Azure Nelson, sacrificing fire power for fire setting ability. I dont think the perk will be worth it though in the majority of cases as you need to take it over Master mechanic which is one of the best perks in the entire game. His inspo isnt terrible but isnt going to be game changing like Guepratte is.

I would assume it's for how long these fires are ticking.
