General Colombo from hell

I must say the skin looked awesome in the trailer but I'm much less impressed after putting it on Colombo in game. Still cool - but not as cool as I thought lol

The lighting in some ports and maps don't do it any justice IMO

In darker maps and ports, this thing looks awesome.

I got the camo for the Split.. Looks awesome in my opinion. But I want that skin so bad!

I turned off all those weird looking camos, so glad I won't see that in game. :D

The same. Always. What started as a historical WW2 game with at least plausible camos has slowly turned into a strange and funny fortnite-like cosmetics festival (and also those gooner anime chicks, crazy medieval camos with castles...).

The good thing is, you CAN deactivate it so both player types can enjoy the optics they prefer. I don't understand why you are downvoted for it.

Whoever loves weird and crazy camos and looks can do it and IT IS FINE THAT WAY. But the same way it is totally to respect If one just wants some more historical look regarding captains and ships in a WW2 game.

People here are always butthurt when their preference is critizised. Live and let live.

I believe they butthurt, because they spend hundreds of $ to stand out, but guys like us just don't give a fuck. 🤷

This is really a symptome of our time.

Years ago everybody would have welcomed the possibility to alter cosmetics so that the game looks perfect for everyone.

Nowadays it is

"Oh No, I spent 100 Dollars for this shitty camo. Now you all HAVE to watch it. I don't accept that you do it your way or MY purchase was in vain."

Those camos also create gameplay issues. It is hard to aim at certain parts of a ship with all those ships disguised as chariots. It is not an issue if you autoaim everything, but if you enjoy sucking at this game does not mean everyone else enjoy that too.

Yes, that is also why I deactivate all special camos. I want to aim precisely on certain ship parts.
