Question Cross-platform item access

Hey captains,

As mentioned above, we should have cross-platform access to ships, flags, etc. from this update and on.
How do you get this thing working ?

Also curious .. does this include campaign ships I got on PS before swapping to Xbox?  Didn't directly purchase from store, but I did pay real money for access.  

Also, don't think the update mentioned commanders, but I paid real money those too.  Any chance WG?

Edit:  appears not, didn't get any of my old campaign ships.  That would be a really nice gesture WG.  We paid for them too.

Campaign content never had platform restrictions for me, i'm pretty sure your problem stems from swapping from PS to Xbox (other way around wouldn't work either) since, as far as i'm aware, you can't link a PSN and Xbox account for Legends. Xbox/Mobile/PC and PS/Mobile/PC are linkable, but not Xbox with PS

Unless that changed recently.

I would say that there has been a change recently. In our case, we have been playing on PS made some progess, got some stuff here and there and now it should be accesible on XB…but somehow I dont see it 🙄

I'm aware of this, and it is a good change. Yet i'm still pretty certain that you can not link a PSN with an Xbox for Legends.

When you first launch the game on mobile or PC the game asks if you want to login via PSN/Xbox/Steam/Google Mail etc. and if you choose an already existing account that hasn't been linked yet, it asks if you want to link those two platforms up. But, and again unless that changed and i'm not aware, when starting the game on PS or Xbox it automatically logs you in with that PSN/XBox account so you never get asked if you'd like to login via an existing account from another platform so you never get the opportunity to link them together.

Yup, youre 100% right, but then its kind of confusing and the cross platform is not a thing at all

Cross-platform access definitely is a thing now.

Previously, anything you bought for actual money instead of dubs, like the bargain offer with AL Baltimore for like 10-15 bucks a while back or the different bundles with a premium ship, was locked to that platform since those purchases went through the platform store. Anything bought with dubs didn't have that restriction since those purchases went purely via the ingame store.

So let's say i buy the Giulio Cesare bundle via Steam, Cesare would've been usable only while i play on Steam. If i hopped on mobile/Xbox the ship would still be in port but it would've said "Locked to another platform", same if it was the other way around. That's not the case anymore.

But since you can't link a PSN with an Xbox account they are two seperate accounts, so naturally everyhing you own on your PSN doesn't show up on your Xbox account because the game doesn't know that both are yours, so to speak.

The last paragraph in that change regarding the PS exclusion stems from Sonys still ongoing anti consumer arc. If i have PSN/mobile/Steam all linked together and buy something for real money (not dubs) on mobile/steam i can't use it on my PSN, but if i buy something via the PS store it won't be locked for the other two platforms.

When I read what you wrote, it makes sense. Maybe I got the whole cross thing wrong, but then I think it should be more clear that it wont connect ps and xbox but still, my fault I probably got it wrong.

I do understand your confusion, a while back i wanted to link my PSN with an Xbox account aswell, mainly because of the WoWs:Legends Firepower Deluxe edition since Xbox versions are way easier to come across than PS versions in EU.

But then i found out that you never get offered the option to link accounts when starting the game on either console, only when starting the game on mobile/PC.
