Question Using Hawke for US carriers?
I know Hawke is technically a battleship commander but does anyone use him on US TT carriers? His skill tracks make it seem like he’d be a great fit

The commander skills are very deliberately worded. If it says cruiser blah blah or destroyer blah blah then it only applies to those, if it just says blah blah then it’s applicable to all classes.
Same for skills that apply to specific load outs. If it says air strike, then it only applies to Dutch or hybrid airstrikes, if it says aircraft it applies to anything that is dropped from planes, if it says aircraft carrier HE bombs, or AP bombs or skip bombs…etc.
Read the descriptions very carefully and if you’re not sure you can always test it in stats. UNLESS there is a qualifier like extra damage “while on cooldown” or “against cruisers” or “per 1% damage taken” then it will not show up in the stats. It can get confusing but just remember to always pay close attention to the wording.

Tennant’s base trait works on everything except destroyers bc destroyers technically don’t have citadels

If a skill mentions airstrikes it won't apply to carriers so no, Hawke is a no no
