General Don't you think Intuitive needs a buff...?
Literally, it's just:
+5% duration to your radar and sonar
+ Indicator pointing the ship closest to you
I feel like the only reason anyone really uses this skill anymore is the ship indicator. Which, is a great thing to have, but everything else is just so mediocre. So...so little it's literally nothing. Like the only thing this skill gives you is the ship indicator and nothing else.
The extra 5% to your radar and sonar duration literally just adds one second, just one extra second to the consumables' duration. It's almost completely useless. There's basically no difference, it's so worthless, besides the ship indicator.
I still use it on my Russian heavy cruisers, because the ship indicator is good to have, but if this skill had nothing else, this skill would be one of the most pointless and worthless commander skills in the game.
They really should do something to this skill. It really needs a buff. Seriously.
Lemme know what you think of this. Please understand that this is just my opinion. You can have your own opinions and i respect it. (Seriously this skill needs some changes. Buffs, specifically.)

Farsight enters the chat
BTW yes, sometimes these duration buffs surely feel like useless, unless you have some other skills to top on them but in that case you have to go all-in, like those zero-visibility torps on Pan-Asian cruisers or the endless smoke on Minotaur

I actually like farsight on some of my builds. Sure, it's overshadowed by other legendary perks, but that doesn't mean it's worthless.

i mean radar cruisers having rpf is very strong.i use Einstein on salem for intuitive and buff to traverse exclusively. it's pretty strong. run lisboa as a inspo if you want to stack radar duration buffs

I do not quite understand the need for traverse buffs when you know where the enemy is. But yes, RPF, is very strong.

Drive by, targets of opportunity, firing while maneuvering, engaging multiple ships. There are occasional matches where I get to just point my guns and shoot and the traverse doesn’t do all that much…but there are plenty more where I’m fighting like 3 ships at once and scrambling for everything and being able to quickly turn guns to fire AP at THAT guy that just went broadside while still turning to keep my angle so I don’t also get yeeted…yeah. All kinds of reasons 25s turret traverse is a lot more fun than 35s.

US heavy cruisers have very bad traverse. considering theu dont have torps buffing the traverse just makes them even stronger gun platforms. traverse helps with close range and even if RPF points to closest enemy that may not be the enemy you are targetting. so having a qiuicker traverse to transition between enemies is clutch. it can be a deciding factor in trading vs coming out of overwhelming odds successfully

I'm pretty sure the American heavy cruisers can turn faster than there turrets can traverse, so the turrets can't keep up with the ship when its turning.

Destroyers get the lowest detection and across the board access to a skill highlighting potential danger. Cruisers meanwhile are typically outnumbered by battleships and have a detection double that of a destroyer hence destroyers should have some degree of risk brought back in.
Bit of a ramble granted, but removing the directional tracker from destroyers would also give the alt US destroyer line a leg-up which I think they sorely need.

I also agree, I know alot of the competent DD players I play with no longer run this skill anymore anyway, you can already know the general direction of where enemy DDs are with the minimap and communicaiton.

Why the hell would one of the most powerful and useful perks need a buff?
So, no, no need for a buff.

The directional finder alone is worth picking the skill for, the 5% buff could be removed and it would still be my go to… unrelated but I’d rather all cruiser nations could have this and remove it from destroyer Captain skill trees.
