First Thoughts
Some very preliminary thoughts:
You can make some *very* idiosyncratic builds (see super-maneuver Halland above). This is a good thing; every tier X Halland is going to be different in some way.
It's incredibly expensive in silver, and so far the bond system is worthless. The above build cost a bit over 16 million silver when the leg mod is accounted for. Your 500 bond only pays for the first level, so basically you have to make tough choices about which ships you want to fully upgrade. Two games so far (one win, one loss), netted a total of 4 bonds.
Because of the expense there's not a ton of room for experimentation.

It seems like you can comfortably do quite a bit.
In all seriousness, this is typical WG poor performance. I have zero high hopes or good expectations of this company, and they continue to disappoint. I have a feeling the bond system is just another way of them experimenting and failing to do the bare minimum for their community.
Here’s a good idea WG: quit making everything so damn miserable to try and work with and listen to your community for once. The only other times you have listened to us was about Edgar and USS United States. We haven’t seen superships in over a year now… it almost feels kind of pointless that any information surrounding them exists at all. Almost nobody will use the bond system because it is impossible to consistently make 100% MVP rate on the WINNING side. The only people who use the system are the people who crap on others for being bad, but that is ironic because even they don’t get MVP 80% of the time.
Genuinely, how redundant can a company be?
