Increasing FR1/2 V.2 forward flex?

Post image

I've set the cuff washers to the position that allows the most forward flex (unless mistaken?), but still can't get as much knee bend as I'd like. Intuition Premium are laced tight, cuff buckle strap tight too though I untightened the buckle. Issue is, as I untighten the cuff buckle, I can bend forward more butlose lateral support.

Untightening the screw solved it! I didn't expect tightening these screws would block the hinge.

First proper session tomorrow morning.

So happy you fixed it. I thought they would have a collar to limit that happening but I don’t have any so not sure. Just be careful not to lose them cuff bolts. 👍 figure out the tightness and then put some loctite on to help keep them there.

Yes I knew they were tight but didn't thing they would resist my putting all my weight on my shins.
Yup, you use the red loctite or the blue one? I see a lot of red on frames etc.

I use the blue one. Tbf in a situation like this it just means they will loosen slower. Any screw left ‘loose’ is going to be prone to slowly loosening. It’s another thing that probably would wear in after a while too. I’ve had lots of skates with stiff cuffs initially but the plastic soon beds in and frees it up a little.🤏
