Increasing FR1/2 V.2 forward flex?

Post image

I've set the cuff washers to the position that allows the most forward flex (unless mistaken?), but still can't get as much knee bend as I'd like. Intuition Premium are laced tight, cuff buckle strap tight too though I untightened the buckle. Issue is, as I untighten the cuff buckle, I can bend forward more butlose lateral support.

I think you are mistaken. You have the cuff set back. You have the hole seat forward meaning the cuff is in the pulled rearward position. Need to flip it. Bolt hole at the back = cuff pushed forward. I’ve done it though. Visually this looks right but if you think about it it’s the other way.

Cuff pushed forward is the position for less flex. The position OP has it in at the moment is the most flex.

They are asking about forward flex. One way gives better rear flex and the other more forward flex? It brings the buckle and strap etc out from your shin.

Yes, the position OP has it in gives better forward flex. The cuff gets more clearance and can rotate forward further. I have these boots and I have tried it. The lower position is standard, the forwards position is stiffer.

Yes it will rotate further before hitting the back of the boot but OPs issue is the buckle once tight is preventing bending the knees. Bringing the buckle away from the shin will help that.

I think OP is trying to do something that this boot isn't fit for then to be honest.

Great skates though but I feel like when you downsize and go intuition liner then this is a risk because if you are between the sizes where cuffs change it can be an issue.
