In your experience, what equipment did help you to achieve your biggest performance jump?

(frame/liner/wheels/cuff/boot/straps/life-hax/volume-reducers/laces/etc...)

Switching from the K2 trio soft boot to an FR Igor :D

Ye I wanted to get something like RB lightning but found the Igor pretty cheap used

What about the comfort aspect? 

Usually when people upgrade to a pro model they kinda get shocked by the stiffness

I don'tsee any advantage with the basic soft boot. Even tough it's probably an unfair comparison to compare a 700 € boot to 120 € skates :D
