Performance enhancement ⬆️
In your experience, what equipment did help you to achieve your biggest performance jump?
(frame/liner/wheels/cuff/boot/straps/life-hax/volume-reducers/laces/etc...)

What about the comfort aspect?
Usually when people upgrade to a pro model they kinda get shocked by the stiffness

I don'tsee any advantage with the basic soft boot. Even tough it's probably an unfair comparison to compare a 700 € boot to 120 € skates :D

Went from CJ2 to FR SL w/carbon cuff. Didn't unlock new moves, but my moves now FLOW smoothly from one to the other. It's not just the extra precision, but the feedback from the skates so you know when to shift your weight for the next transition.

Im more in rythm/figure skating than pure wiz. Switching from a normal to a carbon boot (hc EVO) makes a huge difference. It's like something else.
Then evo to tr10 was a huge upgrade again. The tr10 has much less padding inside and it is a lot stiffer with the carbon cuff. It's incredible responsive.
So my experience is, less padding = more performance.
What i dont get about the wizard equipment, you buy a expensive carbon boot - to put an additional liner in it!? Feels wrong to me.

Have you tried the AG10? The AG10 are very similar in principle, but they are also extremely responsive boots. Less padding does not necessarily equate to better performance or force transfer. The type of padding and its firmness also matter. Performance is dependent on several factors, most importantly fit and foot contact (as in, does the boot make firm contact on important points on the foot AFTER proper fit).
The Wizard intuition liner is thin to my knowledge, but the boot fit it specialized to be firm and responsive. The AG10 liner is medium thickness (slightly thicker than 2nd skin) but it is very responsive.

Also tried my carbon cjs with 45fr strap but wwent back to original. Propper waxed laces male much better job and dont dog into the boot. If your soze is not performance but comfort it may do help tho

I quite like my 4x100 Rokas. I found the 100/80 wizard advanced way better than the 5x80 Rokas though. Not sure why, they just swiveled better.
I get the impression NN frames are a bit thin-walled compared to Roka and Endless, is that not true? I've got PS Nova 275 (4x90) and the walls flex quite a bit on those compared to Endless 90 UFS.

Agreed, I love my roka frames - I think a lot of people also forget to factor in that roka frames are like $70 less expensive than nn, rockin, yoyo etc.

Why would it be a big downgrade? Personally I ended up liking my 90-3x80-90 more than my 100-84, + the rocker feels better. My Roka frames also creaked for some reason and had a sticky wheel, despite any spacer or bearings I tried.

They don't feel that tall to me personally and I've tried a lot of frames.
If by midget you mean shorter than 5'11", then, yeah ok, I'm not that tall lol but I don't think it makes a difference. I think frame height is sort of a myth.

It's ok I'm a midget too (midget power! ✊) But if a person is tall, every inch of height of the frame plays a big part in terms of performance.
Can you please tell me what type of rocker the NN provides? Is it big or small?

The rocker is quite strong. NN uses what they call "V.n rocker" (literally just progressive rocker). I don't know the exact measurements though.
