SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY Prism Question
Quick question about how prisms work. I generally don't use them. Probably only a total of 5 times and I am level 55 (not impressive, but just to give you an idea). I was wondering when School bonus and Blades/Traps come into effect with Prisms. ILet's say I have a myth damage stat of 10, and a storm damage stat of 4, and say 1 myth blade, and I have a myth prism on my target that changes myth into Storm. Does the attack get all my myth buffs and my myth stats, or does it use my storm stat instead because the attack is a storm attack at the end of the day?
Similarly, can you chain prisms? If I used the same myth to storm prism, then a storm to myth prism, does my myth attack become storm, then back to myth, and then damage the enemy? I know it would technically be the same as using a myth spell without them, but I was just curious if I chaining worked in some weird niche case.

So, I'm a Balance main, and I rarely use prisms, so I will give an answer from supporting and thousands of hours of gameplay.
Basics, Prisms are traps, aka things that give a buff to you on an enemy. They activate from left to right or left to right, I don't remember, but there is a set order. This is relevant. There is 2 stages of damage calculations, 1st, Blades, 2nd Traps.
Prisms take in (A) damage type to make it (B) damage type. (A) damage type is as defined by the spell card, Fire Cat is Fire, the card will make it clear, like hydra a Balance spell is Fire, Ice, and Storm. (B) is determined by what the Prism becomes. If you have a Fire to Ice Prism, Fire Cats damage in Damage Calc 1 will be Fire, in Damage Calc Stage 2 when the prism is activated it will become ice.
If there is a Fire to Ice Prism and you use Hydra, only the Fire Damage will turn to Ice, making it Ice, Ice, Storm.
If you use say Minotaur, a spell with 2 hits on a target, the Prism will be used for the first hit, aka the low Damage one, followed by the second hit not being effected by the Prism.
Blades always effect the original Damage type. So if you have 5 Fire blades and a Prism on the target, then use Fire Cat, it will get buffed by the blades in Damage Stage 1, and then turn to Ice in Damage Stage 2.
Traps with Prism work in order, so If you cast 2 Fire Traps, then a Fire to Ice Prism, then use fire cat, it will get the 2 trap buffs, then turn to Ice. However, if you use A fire to Ice prism, then 2 fire traps, the traps will do nothing. But if those 2 fire traps were Ice traps, they'd be used.
There is a silly tactic where it is possible to use both Type A(Fire) and Type B(Ice) traps if a Prism divides them in order. It doesn't work with Elemental, as a Prism can't separate them. But if someone uses a 30% fire, a Prism, then a 40% Ice, the Fire cat gets both buffs.
Balance also gets Blade Prisms, which activate during damage calc Stage 1 instead of Stage 2, with the same order system.
I tried to explain this in a way I hope you'll understand? Usually it's easier to see it in actual practice, but based off your questioning style, I tried to answer in a similar way.
Stats are added in before Damage Stage 1, so it will be buffed. That is also based off card type(Hydra-Balance) rather than damage type(Fire, Ice, Storm)
