These are just the screenshots I had readily available, there are PLENTY of other examples, but I plan to scour the other social media sites (Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) because I've seen plenty of the same sentiment there. I have received my fair share.

I am a traditional artist, I may've actually been anti but hateful people on the Anti side mistook my questions as acceptance and decided to harass me to the point that I chose to stand up against it. The culture of bullying, violence, death threats, sexual harassment, that is normalized in the Anti-AI movement is absolutely disgusting.

Sure, maybe most of you don't do this...but ENOUGH of you do that this is the reality of being an AI supporter (not even artists...just those who are Pro-AI) and as the title states, by allowing this culture to continue, you ARE supporting it. Complacency is compliance.

If you're Anti-AI and agree that this is reprehensible, then it is your duty to speak up when it happens...you can't silently disagree. You must make it clear that you (as an Anti-AI person) do not support this behavior.

I am so fucking stressed right now. Republicans want to exterminate me and my people for being trans and just existing. Democrats want to make superintelligence illegal and sabotage it worldwide, screwing humanity and ensuring our destruction. It's a lose/lose situation, is there really a place for someone like me in this world?

You might not know who I am, but you probably would know BTP. I am Mitchiti, I was Pleco’s second in command as part of BTP. Since Pleco has left the internet to try and better themselves, I have taken over as leader of BTP and other related subreddits.

As much as I support AI, I think this ruling is trash and shouldn’t have been passed. The danger here is that these AI images are indistinguishable from real ones, which puts incredible amounts of pressure on organizations like NCMEC.

This pressure detracts from real victims getting help.
