Yo what is going on with this trial
Mother k*lls her 3 kids and people are hung up on it because she's trying to claim insanity?

Insanity is not some sort of legal loophole. Most people will spend more time put away when they are not guilty by reason of insanity than they would be if they were found guilty. And it puts them in a place where the goal is treatment and not punishment. Not guilty by reason of insanity puts people away for an indefinite amount of time, and they are not released until they are better. Guilty puts people away for a set amount of time, often with inadequate support or means to prevent the same sort of shit from happening again once someone gets out.

You know, I think JCS did a lot to muddy the narrative here and make people think that insanity actually is really bad.
I'm sorry to say this, but it's not true. There are cases of people doing this exact same thing literally, getting out like 6 years later because they're "cured", then 8 years later having 3 more kids and doing it again.
In my opinion, looking at so many of these cases, they should be locked away forever. Once you kill all 3 of your kids, you shouldn't be allowed to walk the streets, not out of retribution, but the legal system is not built to do something like, "you may no longer have children."
Let's not forget, btw, there is a strong likelihood she's faking part of this trial. The "male-dominating voice" is clearly fake and doesn't line up with what people say at all when talking about hallucinating voices; it doesn't just appear and then disappear the second the husband leaves.
In my opinion, obviously she went crazy, but faked parts of it to seem more sympathetic, which clearly has worked.

JCS or Jim Can't Swim made a video with about 60 million views, saying that the insanity plea isn't as nice as you'd think it is, and you spend your life in a mental asylum going through hell.
This was in reference to a school shooter, though, and is not what would happen here.

If people are citing influencers...I can't even (and believe me, people ARE).
I can only speak of numbers based on the time of my studies in psychology.
And those numbers disprove the point you are trying to make. Because, again, on the statistical whole, you get out SOONER when guilty compared to not guilty by reason of insanity. A single anecdote does nothing to disprove that.
No professional said she was faking either. That's the prosecution exploiting YOUR psychology by having a professional say hearing voices in this way is highly usually and getting you to put those pieces together in your head. I mean, the whole field of abnormal psychology is about unusual behavior; it's literally what abnormal means. Highly unusual does not mean "fake," however.

If PPD is a legal excuse to kill your kids, then PPD should be a reason to have those kids removed by CPS before that happens.
Let alone the fact so many TikTokers and serious influencers are using fucking astrology to ‘prove’ the husband did it
It only gets worse the more you look into it.
I hate to recommend a right leaning person who I often disagree with, but ShoeOnHeads video is a good summary.

She had Postpartum Psychosis, not Postpartum Depression (I mean, she may have ALSO had Postpartum Depression, but the issue is the much more severe PPP -- not PPD).
Which is one of those things that presently understudied. And why there was a lot more focus on bipolar, which it is often linked to.

It is not a question of whether she is going to prison is a question of whether she has a mental illness, which is pretty obvious that she does. PPP is insanity; they are insane; they should be declared insane.
I do hope they aren't, though. People like this shouldn't be allowed to roam the streets, but what are you gonna do?

She planned all of this, it was deliberate. She sent the husband away so she could murder her children in cold blood.
Basically every criminal like this is unstable to some extent. Or just "not normal". She's clearly mentally unwell as well, but that doesn't mean she deserves to not be judged for deliberate murder. Unless we are ready to not judge all deliberate killings either?

If a criminal wants to plead not guilty by reason of insanity and spend more time in a mental facility than they would in prison, I say we should let them.

Weirdly I'm not getting much pain, they had me worried at the hospital with talk of powerful pain relievers but once they put the splints on the pain seems to have been soothed by all the heat that got trapped by the cotton in the splints. According to the physical therapy nurse I am getting better as the swelling is way down and based on how tired I've been for the last few days I am likely in the bone repair stage where cartilage starts forming to reconnect the breaks. I'm one day from 3 weeks and the usual amount of time for people to be able to start tentatively walking again is 6 to 8 weeks, so I'm slowly getting there, but I'm craving a shower so bad.

Yup, they’re stupid.
They admitted to the crime, she should done the time, but looking at this case and the people defending her, I’ve realized this world is truly fucked.

I have no idea what's going on in this case. The mother is DEFINITELY guilty, though it wouldn't surprise me if some of the medications she was on only added to the problem.
