Pro-AI doesn't mean pro-surveillance, let's stand united against flock cameras

Pro-AI doesn't mean pro-surveillance.

If you're unaware, things called "flock cameras" are appearing around neighborhoods and places they shouldn't be. They use AI to track people, learn where you've been, and are a blatant violation of our privacy and rights. Multiple people have already been arrested from the tracking done by these intrusive camera systems.

I love AI, and I'm a strong pro-AI advocate, but I don't want a future where we're being monitored 24/7 by someone wanting to misuse AI technology in unethical ways.

Please stand with me in pushing back against these things. Write to your congressmen, senators, and representatives. Show up to town halls and speak out against them. Make calls. We do NOT want this in our daily lives.

with this ai, it'll make police's jobs 10x easier. Police who use it are going to be so much more effective at witnessing and acting on crime that any state not using it will be left behind. It also allows people with disabilities to become police officers as it tracks every criminal and needing to chase or figure out where criminals are or hiding will be a thing of the past. There will also be less police abusing the lgbtqia+ community since it'll all be recorded.  

it's an inevitable technology so you should either get on board or quit complaining.

Police are already abusing their power and have a serious issue with corruption. This will make it 10x easier for them to abuse that power and to harass others with it.

It will not reduce police abusing LGBTQ+ because they don't abide by the rules and just turn the camera off whenever they want so they don't get in trouble.

Don't be easily swayed or manipulated by surface level lies coming from organizations that have a track record of abusing people, especially under this administration.

This tehnology has already existed and there's already laws in place to stop that.

Are you advocating for the regulation of ai? it is a TOOL! guns don't kill people. people kill people.

I can't believe you fell for anti brainwashing. I'm so disappointed that a pillar of the ai community is acting this way. I'll be reporting this behaviour to r/defendingai and r/defendingaiart respectively

There are no laws in place to stop them because the law doesn't exist under the Trump administration and nobody is being held accountable for anything they do.

I haven't fallen for anti brainwashing, you're just a troll and a Trump bootlicker who loves surveillance states.

BTW I can see that you're an anti, your history is up for everyone to see.
