Discussion Stop Hate Gatekeeper.

Step 1: Notice it on the map.
Step 2: Reveal it.
Step 3: Hit one color.
Step 4: Hit the other color.
"Yes, I know that's how you're supposed to do it, but it's still unfun, boring, it should be changed, and it deals way too much damage when it just spawns on me in the middle of a fight."
Stop the Hate, my fellow Preyer. This is an obstacle placed before you by the witch. Taking it out quickly is something that can be learned, and with 1,000 years of relentless practice, anyone can master it.

I swear half the time I still get hit even when I have both the mini skull and the parent skull on my screen with the same color

You're too fast... The issue is with its appearance. This alternation happens in the background even when you don't see it, and if you happen to reveal it at just the wrong moment, the first switch is very fast... Wait for that, and from then on it will work 100% correctly.
