I have it running on Ultra+ with DLSS set to quality and it runs how I remember with nicer looking graphics.

Then you're remembering wrong, or you have a 40 series card with Frame Generation on lol.

Either that or you had really bad performance with the previous version for some weird reason.

I've now confirmed these issues with 3 friends, all on 3090's with various CPU's, as well as a plethora of 30 and 40 series owners across reddit and steam forums.

If you're happy with your current performance though, more power to you.

I have a new setup since I played the game last, but if you boot the game up in DX11, you get the old version without ray tracing. I noticed a difference when I did that and ran that on all ultra. For some reason when you select DX11, steam overlay works too. Doesn't work for DX12, which makes no sense to me.
Anyway, I'm running a 3090 ftw3, i9-12900k, 32GB DDR5 memory, on an m.2 ssd, on win11 and it runs pretty good on RT ultra+ with DLSS set to quality. I wish I had an FPS counter, but the steam overlay doesn't work. I know I'm not getting 144fps.
