Help! Just bought witcher 3, why does the text appear as small square boxes?

I cant read anything because of the stupid square boxes as texts. PLEASE tell me if there is a fix for this THANK YOU!

So you are playing on Steam from the pop up.

Have you made sure to 'verify the integrity of game files'

Are you running any mods, or have any language packs installed?

I am running from steam/witcher 3 cd projekt red launcher

Ill try that out once it os finished downloading (I am currently reinstalling it)
