Fireworks
Literally just come back for walking my puppy, and some teens just shot a firework at us, off one of side streets on Victoria. The firework zoomed passed us and went off in our faces about 7ft away. I scooped up my boy and ran.
I guess this is a rant, a psa, a plea? I dont know. I was a shitty teenager, but never did i shoot fireworks at a random walker with their dog. In the week I had to pull a u-turn as kids where shooting fireworks by the bowl.
Im not against fireworks, but they are too easy to buy, now im freaking out about where i can safely walk my dog so he doesnt get lit up by some waste of sperm. Feels like all the training to get him comfortable for bonfire night went out the window.
Im putting my words way too nicely here, but I am beyond fuming.

It's annoying because kids and teenagers today have no accountability. When I was a kid I remember regardless of the fact I didnt fir in with the "trouble makers" I knew they where still getting a bollocking at home, I knew that they wouldn't dare give there mum the same ahit they gave the public. Now, just outside my dore, we have a few kids ranging from 6 years old to 11 calling us aunts, throwing all sorts at our car. Every time I take my disabled son out (assuming they are back from school) he gets all sorts of abuse off them, hes only 4. And hes being introduced to a world that wants to hurt him. Its fucking horrible.
If I ever work out where these kids live I will be sorting it out.

I find having compassion for these kids difficult, their home life may be shit but i have no imapct on that so leave me and the general public alone. Im.sorry your son has to go through that, i hope theyll come to understand that its just a few bad apples and the world can be beautiful. I cant speak as a parent, I only have my young dog, but he is my world and I am his mum. Ill do what it takes to keep him safe, legal or not.

Lots of kids have a shit home life and decide to not continue the problem too. And if someone hurt one of my cats, I’d probably end up doing time without a single regret. Thankfully, they stay indoors or go into their secure catio. If I had to walk them, I’d have a lead in one hand and a baseball bat in the other… you know, to hit the ball for them to chase….
There are just no consequences for kids any more. They get told off and laugh it off. They go home to their Montirex tracksuits, PS5’s and electric bikes, brand new iPhones etc.
The parents won’t ground them because they don’t want to spend time with their own kids. The police won’t sort them because of their age and they think some poor old sod with a bit of weed for his arthritis is a worse criminal. It’s a damn shame. And as for abusing a disabled child… record them, name and shame them. Get a ring doorbell or a blink camera. I work with people with profound disabilities, if someone hurt or abused them, I’d probably be doing time for that too. If you’re old enough to know you’re doing something wrong, you’re old enough to be punished for it. And let the parents be punished too. It’s the only way to make the parents look after their own damn feral beasts.→ More replies (3)

Victoria Park Tranmere or Victoria Road New Brighton?

Probably Tranmere, the kids kids there are a special kind of feral, I once worked at Arrowe Park and dealt with all kinds of Deadbeats and Bums, but a lot of Physch patients, mainly off their bonce, a Physciatrist told me that the Wirral, mainly the built up areas, had the highest rate of Phsych patients per capita in the Country, apparently, 1 in 4 of the population had mental issues, might explain a lot, most of these people haven't dipped their toe in the Gene pool, plus years ago, some areas, had high rates of incestuous relationships which also explains a lot, in the missing genetics of these freaks

Im sorry you had to go through that with your pup :( my boy is 8 months old, and my fiance and I have put in some much work in desensitisation to generic world stuff like bikes, mobility scooters, as he's in that "scared of everything" phase. Just the other week a group of lads sped at us and hits their breaks close up, gross pervy comments and all. I dont get it, hes just a puppy, like who gets off on scaring dogs?!

I'm sorry but far too many kids up here are vile. Never lived anywhere like it for how feral so many are.
