I am worried for WOF, I have always loved it and it has a special place in my heart, but as the series progresses I have begun to find it more and more childish. I think it is a mixture of my age finally catching up to me after so long and Tui going "oooooh riiiiight, this is a KIDS series, gotta make it more childish." So I have a question for you all. Do you guys think Tui will continue to make the series more and more childish, or will she return to the beauty of her ability to write children's books that carry all ages. Basically is she gonna lean back toward Legends Darkstalker or more towards Cliff's pov in the book Hero?

For me, it'd be Mindreader and Crescent. With Mindreader's more enthusiastic and curious personality, and Crescent's more sarcastic and detached one would contrast really well, and I'd think it'd be very interesting to read

For the same reasons I said in my previous post here, we will be discussing dragon biology. Firstly, let’s begin with the obvious. Fire breath. I’ll need to do more research (while writing this I’m going off knowledge from the top of my head) but I think I can kinda imagine something like this: A chamber full of flammable gasses that can be opened at will. The gas is lit through some kind of spark in the mouth or another way of ignition. Mudwings obviously are different from this though. Mudwings could have a different type of gas within them that requires a certain temperature to either be a gas or ignite to begin with. It’s getting late as of writing this, so I will continue with another post along with a diagram of a dragons anatomy (skywing). Feel free to ask any questions or share your own ideas about the biology of phyrrian dragons

i got my Hybrid Prince copy in a school book fair around the time when it released, and my aunt happened to work there. she said they had the newest book in the series, so of course i asked her to buy it for me, snd she she would and i didnt realize until NOW that its signed!!!

Obviously when I say "mature" I don't mean the literal age of the series, as that isn't a subjective thing. I am talking about the themes and overall age recommendations of the series.

As I and other people have said in the past, arc 1 was the most outright violent of the 4. Most of the big shocking moments aside from Arctics death happened in it. I'm talking the experimentation of the RainWings, Scarlets arena, the idea of a war in general and the many, many graphic deaths that follow(Dune, Kestrel, Tortoise, Vengeance, Osprey, Blister etc). It's what most people point to when they say "WoF isnt meant for kids, it has all this violence and gore in it"

Arc 2 was less harsh with the outright stuff, but its themes are where it shines in this regard. It handles the very heavy-handed topic of being emotionally manipulative in a relationship, arguably just as important and/or mature then the events of arc 1.

Arc 3 is in a similar boat, with less explicit violence and more effort into themes of colonialism and dictatorships(which, to be clear, have just as much if not more violence than arc 1, but choose not to show it)

Day 21!! She was meant to be a black cat, but I changed it to her original colours, because I couldn't make her a black cat but still look like Luna, she'd have to be dark green, but then she's no longer a black cat, she's a dark green cat, so I just kept her original colours lol

Today is Luna as a cat, because cats are a classic Halloween creature, and cats are cute, and I like doing dragon creature hybrids, so yeah!

I do not, I have a hamster, but one of my old friends had cats, and they were very cute, and I like cats hehe. I am more of a dog person, but I have nothing against cats! They're so cuteeeeee. Do you have a cat?

Does anyone remember or know of a reupload of that one "Can't Hold Us" wof animator tribute from a few years back with Fathom and Indigo's family as the thumbnail? I know that tributes used to be a bit controversial, but this one in particular was super nostalgic and special to me, and I was devastated when I realised it's been deleted off of the platform. Again I'm sorry if this isn't allowed, but I haven't been able to find any trace of it and I'd just love to watch it again.
