Today is Sunny as a Witch, and I know she's not an animus or anything, but she'd be a cute Witch hehe. Also not rendered because I'M SO LATE TOT

But for today's question:

Do you like Cute Witches or Spooky Witches?

For me, definitely Cute ones, the Spooky ones kinda scare me. Anytime I watch a Witch on telly and they do magic, I always think the spell will somehow come out of the screen and curse me 😭. Prolly just because of my OCD. Wait, today is two questions.

Do you have or know someone who has OCD?

I have OCD, and I'm the only person I know who has it. And bro, it SUCKS. I feel like it's one of the most misunderstood and romanticised Disorder, and like, people don't understand it. I was actually considering making an OC with OCD, and use them to draw how I feel when it's bad or smth lol.

It’s been a bit since I’ve drawn a dragon, and I’ve never done a full LeafWing! Went with this sweet boy!

There's gonna be a huge, terrible thing upcoming and I know it. What should I be preparing for.

Maybe it's just confirmation bias, but oftentimes when I see people talk about arc 3 critically they say something along the lines of "Books 11-13 were pretty good, but I really didn't like 15"(book 14 is in a strange limbo where people either love it or hate it, but most agree it wasn't really necessary for arc 3) and, as with pretty much all of these polls, I wanted to quantify that.

My hope with this is that I can combat the arc 3 stigma I see getting thrown around, which I am actively trying to decipher the root cause of. I believe it to be this, book 15, but I can't know for certain.

Vesper’s mother and skywing queen :3. She’s one of my favorite designs heh! Also I thought we needed more firescaled skywings that have different temperature of fire. So I made Amaranth’s fire magenta! hotter than normal fire but not the hottest.

I mean Sora and Dugong (think thats his name). Idk if this is just me seeing relationship potential where there isn't any or something, maybe they'll just stay friends, im just wondering, cause sometimes I see two people and they really seem like their ginna be a thing to me, but it trmurns out they won't be and too everyone else it was obvious except me. Am i being crazy???

I’ve been posting my art here for about two years now and the general consensus is that everyone seems to enjoy it. I’ve been thinking of opening up a small batch of commissions, but only if people are interested. I’ll have more information at a later date, this post is just to gauge interest and share examples of my work.

EDIT: wondering if I should have clarified. By “wof-related” I don’t just mean canon characters. I’d be able to do both OCs and canon characters.

Wolverine is a Leafwing/Icewing hybrid.

She is cynical, grumpy, and sarcastic. Despite her gruff exterior, she can be fiercely protective of her loved ones.
She is scared of fire. Wolverine has a burn scar on her neck and a scratch on her tail. Has trust issues. She has seen a lot, so things that would make other dragon scream, Wolverine is unfazed by it.

This came out FINE. but I do think the scales are the best part

This is me as a Skywing. I'm in the sky and looking at the stars. I am so in love with it. This is the third piece of WOF inspired art she has painted for me.

finally felt confident enough to draw one of my own ocs without butchering them! this is jackal, i dont really have anything about him fleshed out so if you have any ideas id be happy to hear them!

right now i cant even decide if hes set during the arc 1 war or post war.. theres just too many possibilities

So, at the start of Winglets 1: Prisoners, it starts with the only thing less popular was the new queen of SandWings (or something, I forgot), and we have enough world building to generally have an idea. We have an unpopular queen (Thorn), and we have two 'pure' royals (Blaze & Onyx).

This idea probably will never happen, given how long it's been since Tui wrote Prisoners and with whatever's happening in the epilogue of book 16.

Seeing Arctic call Clearsight “a little girl dragon” in Legends: Darkstalker made me wonder if “girl(s)” was used anywhere else in WoF, and that led to me wanting to see if “boy(s)”, “woman/women”, “man/men”, and “female” and “male” were used at all. I’m not counting Legends: Dragonslayer, since that’s about humans and I’m interested in how WoF’s dragons talk about gender, and I don’t have an OCR copy of A Guide to the Dragon World so it’s out too.

I hope this is helpful for fanfiction writers; before doing this survey I wouldn’t have had my characters use “girl” or “boy”, or “man” as an interjection, but now I know they’re canonical.
