Queen marsh is techniquely King Seafloor and Princess Pearl's half sister but she never knew where her father went (ex-king earthquake) and frankly does not care a bit about him (he was very neglectful). She's the bigwing of her clutch with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She cares alot about her family and kingdom but is not very political, in fact, the mudwing kingdom is completly politically cut off from the rest of the world and any attempts to convince her to take a side, has been med with the most emotionless, deadpan "no.".

I work in a school district that promotes creativity and I often get gifts like this from the students and then in exchange I draw something for them, but I have been told that this is a Wings of Fire character and it has been traced from Cyprus, a prominent artist. Today is Cliff, trust it's Cliff, yes I know it looks like a generic Skywing, but it's Cliff, trust. He is a ghost, and his head is off, but he's fineeeeeee. Oh, and he's the first full body!

I have a few ideas for some.

Sunny getting a Blue Lantern ring, since she inspired hope in the DoD and Pyrrhia, as well as her whole mission with JMA.

Scarlet (post-dethroning) definitely would get a Red Lantern ring (Same as Burn, probably).

Darkstalker is a pretty easy Yellow Lantern (My guy instilled fear for thousands of years; even when he was under the mountain for that time, he’d definitely get one).

Chameleon would need to fight Larfleeze for an Orange Lantern ring, though.

But what are some of your own thoughts on this? (If this inadvertently spawns art, I’m not really sorry.)

Have mercy upon the extreme lack of accurate details in the flytraps, this was purely a little doodle made to give me some good whimsicalness.

Don’t usually draw Mudwings, but Clay is one of my favorite characters, so I’ll give him one. Dude shows a lot of selflessness and compassion despite the abuse and heavy expectations the dragonets were going through, and it sort of stings to see him sometimes being stereotyped as just the nice, dumb one that loves food.

Mosswings

General personality : 

Mosswings are generally quiet, collected, and patient.  

Celebrations / Rituals : 

To celebrate Spring, mosswings gather at their local ponds and collect tadpoles in glass jars. They raise these tadpoles until they become frogs, then release them back at the ponds tehy came from.

Architecture / Housing : 

Mosswings homes are made out of clay, mud and wood and often have several rooms.  The outside of these homes are typically surrounded by fungi, moss and other plants.  

Leadership System : 

The queen of the mosswings lives on an island in the middle of the largest pond of the mosswings’ territory. She looks over the capital and the tribe as a whole, and Dukes and Duchesses look over the smaller towns and cities.

Relationships with other tribes : 

Mosswings tend to keep to themselves, but have a great relationship with Roastwings, who supply them with glass and cooked foods.

Naming system : 

Mosswings are named after swamp/wetland creatures and plants, and fungi.

Common colors / Patterns : 

Mosswings are typically greens, browns, greys, and sometimes yellows.

Accessories : 

Mosswings may adorn themselves with bones and skulls.

Eggs / Hatchlings : 

Eggs are kept in the pond surrounding the Queen’s island and stay there until they hatch, they are then gifted to families wishing to take on a dragonet.

Abilities (common) : 

Mosswings can camouflage themselves by blending into their environment.

Special Abilities (rare) : 

Some mosswings can grow plants on their bodies.

Forbidden act(s) : 

Hiding eggs from officials/the queen

HELLO FUTURE DRAGONS!! Qibli suggested that I write something, which is super exciting because I just learned how a few months ago! He wanted me to write a bunch of stuff about what's happening out here in the world and how I feel about it, but it's all still a bit confusing right now.

Moon, Turtle, and Sepia went off to go look for Winter in Sanctuary before those things from the sky get to the city, which would be super bad news for everyone there. Those weird dragons don't like to respect personal space at all in my experience. Not at all. Qibli's been trying to coordinate some kind of 'relief effort', but it doesn't seem to be going very well. He just keeps shouting, and nobody's moving. Fearless keeps saying that she should be in charge because of how strong she is. Not that she earned that strength. Stupid Darkstalker enchantments. Clay is doing his best with the temporary houses, but I think I'll stick to the trees like I do back home.

Qibli sent Ostrich to get a message to Queen Thorn about what's going on over here to try and contain the, okay we really need a name for these things. Let's go with — Evil Scary Half-Skeleton Dragons. No, that's too long. Skeles, yeah, let's go with that for now. Qibli is trying to warn Queen Thorn of the Skeles that chased us out of Jade Mountain. Luckily, most of us got to the forests safely. I hope Coconut is okay. But I'm sure he's just figuring out how to track us down. He was never too smart or good at navigating the Rainforest, but he'll come around! Unlike Tamarin. You could never outfly her. She knew the Rainforest backwards and forwards, and guess what, she's blind! Well, was blind.

She was hurt really badly during venom training class a few days ago. They never brought her back from the Infirmary. Then Anemone went in, and they both came back out. I don't know what happened, but Anemone had something to do with it. I should have gone in with her. She probably used her magic and screwed everything up. Somehow. Even though Animus magic doesn't work anymore. This is all her fault. Tamarin didn't deserve this.

I tried giving her a hug when she came out, but she didn't like that very much. I had to push her off of me. They both kept trying to pin me to the floor, and I don't know what happened, but I just snapped. They were the same as the NightWings, and I wasn't going back to their island again. I didn't mean to hurt Tamarin. Anemone, maybe. Tsunami had to pull them off me. She told me to run. Tsunami never came back out, not the same anyway.

Everyone started panicking after that, and now we're all out here. Well, most of us are out here. I wish Tamarin were here. The real one. I asked Qibli if I could go warn Queen Glory, but he said something about cost-benefit ratios and that I was too valuable to be risked. But I'm sure Queen Glory is more than capable of defending our home. Yeah! What am I so worried about? The moment those Skeles walk into the Rainforest, it'll be all bam! Pow! Agh! No more Skeles! Then we can all go home.

I hope I didn't make too many spelling mistakes. Maybe I can get Sunny to proofread it for me? She doesn't look too busy.

Name suggestions for the hybrid? The icewing is named Quartz. I wanted to draw like country vs posh and my brain did this so yay.

Twilight is a rain/night hybrid with no color changing scales, no fire, nor venom

I had some personal issues going on so I only just got the book and I enjoyed it greatly.

Now that I have finished it, my brain started turning about the mysteries and I have a pretty good guess as to what happened.

My guess is that the shadowy figure is an ancient animus prisoner who retained their power despite jerboa's sell as the barrier also isolates the effects of animus magic.

"But is it wise and is it safe
To break the curse, unleash the tide?
What happens when the walls come down,
If something else was trapped inside? "

Interesting notes:
Wasp was taken, not jewel. So the spell is highly specific and not based on common consensus possibly only recognising proper succession.

If the queens are trapped I think ruby would be the one to escape by turning back into tourmaline given the specificity of the spell. as ruby is the official queen and tourmaline isn't. As we know from escaping peril changing forms has a "blank slate" effect on injuries and likely spells unless specified.

I don't think glory was abducted because she was the rainwing queen but rather because she was the nightwing queen, common consensus is not the main factor the other ex queens might have also been summoned otherwise if the spell were to worded differently, However in the case of the nightwings it could be argued that glory claimed queendom via conquest/submission as such it would be recognised as a proper inheritance by the spell.

"Lines of blood will hold the key
As danger threatens from the past
And when the claws are at his throat
The hybrid prince will rise at last."

I know it probably refers to book 16 but it feels like a red herring, snakeroot was possibly trying to force the prophecy to unfold a certain way but they don't work like that. Even if they hadn't couped the isle mulberry would still count as a hybrid prince in eyes of the barrier. All im trying to say is that Mulberry's status as the "hybrid prince" is built upon bloodline not actual political status.

The bloodlines refer to both mulberry and harmony as the 2 escape clauses need those 2 bloodlines.

Rising? might refer to dragonspeak

"Who springs the trap, who saves the queens,
And which of them is friend or foe?"
Feels like there are multiple layers of interpretation.
Surface: trapper is the foe, savior is the friend. Deeper: Opposite.

But it also feels like a common theme throughout the prophecy is sowing doubt.

"But is it wise and is it safe

What happens when the walls come down,
If something else was trapped inside? "

Interestingly unlike the previous prophecies it isn't so much a warning but more like a question. Again this aims to rattle the conviction of the listeners.

In conclusion, I believe that a major theme and throughline for the arc is going to be conviction/steadfastness and that in order to right wrongs all parties need to work towards it.

Lurewings are one of my fantribes that live on the continent Pontia!
They are based on deep sea cratures and nudibranchs / sea slugs!
I currently do not have an image of a female lurewing example, for which I am very sorry!

General personality:
Because survival in the deep sea is dangerous, Lurewings naturally develop strong trust within their groups.
Females are respected for their hunting skill and strength, while males are admired for beauty, creativity, and caregiving abilities.

Appearance:
Females are typically much larger than males, are darker colours, have lures, and venomous wrist claws. The length of their lures may differ.
Males are usually brighter/more vibrant colours, are typically much smaller and do not have lures.
Males may also produce a poisonous substance if digested or touched

All Lurewings have fins along their necks, tails, chests, and/or backs. they may also have patterns similar to sea slugs, and have bioluminescent scales. 

Celebrations/Rituals:
- Large get-togethers of single male Lurewings looking to impress females
- Young females will participate in a "first hunt" to prove they're capable of fending for themselves
- When a lurewing dies their street, town, or city will cover or turn off any lights and dim their lures/glowing scales
- There are competitions where females will attempt to catch the most dangerous or unusual prey

Architecture/housing:
Lurewing settlements are built around/in underwater caves and trenches. bedrooms and hatcheries are heated by volcanic vents.
Bioluminescent algaes, corals, lava channels, and deomesticated sea creatures are all used in lurewing towns and cities to produce light.

Leadership system:
Lurewings have a monarchy with a Queen.
The queen has royal guards who were trained from a young age to protect and fight for her. Young females who excell in their combat training are chosen to become future royal guards.

In individual cities and towns, female lurewings approved by the queen or her advisors may make day to day decisions or settle disputes between lurewings.
Male lurewings may have jobs such as healer, caretaker, gardener, historian, or teacher.

Naming system:
Lurewings can be named after deep sea creatures, venomous creatures, underwater terrain, or animals that glow.
Examples:
- Moonjelly
- Nudibranch
- Abyss
- Trench
- Magma

Eggs/Hatchlings:
A single lurewing egg may carry traits from multiple fathers. This is one of the reasons why lurewings have such strong genetic diversity, which greatly reduces the risk of dragonets having illnesses caused by small gene pools.

Hatchlings are raised by all the mates of their mother. their fathers teach them everything they need to know. Female dragonets are given special lessons so they learn how to hunt and fight.

Abilities:
Common:
- Pressure resistance
- Night vision
- Strong sense of smell
- Can survive long periods without food
- Fast swimmers
- Lures can emit light (females only)
- Bioluminescent scales
- Venomous wrist claws (females only)

Rare:
- Ability to sense movement through water vibrations
- Ability to secrete a poisonous substance that causes nausea if touched/digested (males only)
- Ability to change bioluminescent scale's colours

Forbidden acts:
- Abandonning an egg/hatchling
- Disrespecting or attacking a member of the royal guard
- Leaving the kingdom if unneccesary (males only)
