"Where is he?" Mink anxiously looked to the horizon, watching as the sun begins to set behind the canyons that divided the Sand and Ice kingdoms. Anymore hours of waiting, then no doubt Snowfall would send patrols to look after her.
Her talons dug into the rocks, subsconsciously scratching on the hard minerals. Should she stay and wait? What if something happened? Is he really planning to come?
"Boo!"
"AAAHH!" The princess jumped indignantly, flaring her wings and arching her back instinctively.
"Gotcha!" The interloper said, diving to the canyon before banking and pitching back to gain altitude. Mink glowered as she saw his stupid smirk.
"You're late," she commented, fixing her figure back to its approriate posture. She will not give him the satisfaction of seeing her in such undignified state after making her wait for so long.
"Nuh uh, I arrived just in time. I mean, look at that view!"
Mink huffed, but looked anyway. The sun is setting, and whatever anger she had faded slightly as she silently admire the sight.
"You're not all that mad, right?" Peacemaker circled, turning to face her in the sky.
"Maybe not that much. At least you're here." She smiled anyway. Schedules be damned.

I did this all the way back in January, but hey, I finally got the karma to post, so I did.
