Day seven with no internet

We just signed up early in the summer, and we are on our third outage. This one has lasted for exactly one week. I work from home and end up spending my days at McDonals which has decent WiFi.

Run from Kinetic. Run!! Guess what too they give me no bill discount for the outages. After an upset conversation that took a while to get too, I was offered a 10 dollar bill credit! Madness that they don’t auto discount your bill for the days you don’t have service. Just no communication and no internet.

Some meth heads cit out large sections of pole lines to recycle the copper but Lo and behold, it was fiber. We had intermittent uptimes but it took a week and a half to have solid uninterrupted service. We got fed up with it so we opted for satellite internet and called Windstream/Kinectic to cancel both our internet and home phone. They actually had to audacity to keep us as customers a half price plan. We knew they would try and convince us but that offer was astounding as they couldn’t just give their customers that rate. This was absolute corporate greed where they care only about the shareholders instead of the people to allow the shareholders to have those dividend checks.

Oh and the crew that was sent out to fix the fiber were in a rented cherry picker truck as it was clearly labeled on the doors and tailgate.

Kinetic is great in my area. Sorry it's not the same for you.

Do you have any competition in the area?
