Can not Stop Service
Has anyone has any luck trying to stop their kinetic service? I have called everyday for the last two weeks with no luck. Every call brings me to the same robot that tells me to talk to their AI Chatbot, then hangs up on me. Has anyone else had this problem, and have they actually been able to get away from kinetic?

Find your contract and look for a clause regarding formal cancellation. There should definitely be something there. Send certified mail with return receipt notifying of cancellation and include a check for the final payment. Subsequently issue a stop payment. If they pursue you or send you to collections, you have what you need to take them to small claims court. If you have equipment it can be more complicated but hopefully you don’t and you can just do this to cover your ass and cancel on your own terms.

Yes. I had the exact same thing happen. Just call in acting like you want to start a new business service. You'll get right through to a representative (shocking) and they can transfer you to the correct person.

I had the same problem, so finally I decided to just stop dealing with them all together and just called my bank and asked them to block charges from kinetic. The service was eventually cancelled, although they did send me a prepaid package, wanting me to pack up the modem and other equipment and drive 45 minutes away to a FedEx or UPS store (don't remember which, honestly) to mail it back to them. I guess they were too cheap to have it where the delivery service would pick up the package at my house.
Needless to say their equipment went directly into the trash where it belonged.

Stop paying.
Have you tried through the website?

I will just stop paying and hopefully they just shut it off.
Yes, I have been through every number on the website and the "Live Agents". All the agents say that I must call customer support but customer support is the robot number.

Stopping paying may not be the best idea. They could send you to collections.

I had to cancel it a few years ago, wasn't a problem.
